Beautiful venue, great service and delicious wines. We were welcomed with some Prosecco which was so delicious and organic. We then had a wine flight (Chardonnay, Rose, Pinot Grigio and Cab Merlot) with cheese and charcuterie. The waiter walked us through each wine and the food pairing. Highly recommend!

While on travel, some people like to work remotely at cafes with coffee*, and then there are those who like to work remotely at classy wine bars.

What a wonderful, wonderful experience! So much more than just a place to eat and drink, but a true experience! You have the option to choose a tasting set of 4 wines and match it with cheese. I was hungry so added a charcuterie board too. The wines are delicious and the cheese pairing is on point! The charcuterie plate includes their own in-house made bread, which if you ask me, is the best and coolest thing that makes this place even more unique! The bread is amazing! The place has a nice ambience, with classic music, that makes it perfect for a classy, sophisticated date night. Or you could come on your own, as I have, to enjoy some reading with wine 🍷�"� Fantastic place!

Brilliant experience with the guided tasting and were more than happy to make a vegan friendly wine flight for my girlfriend. Mitch was a legend who clearly knew his stuff but made it a really approachable and enjoyable tasting. Leish made sure we left with the best value for money as well. Highly recommend

We were very impressed with the warm and friendly customer service and the extensive knowledge that the staff displayed about the wines and food that we ordered. The quality and presentation of our food and wine order was exceptional, and they matched the cheeses perfectly with each wine, which brought out the flavours in each other amazingly. We will definitely tell our friends about this undiscovered gem in the heart of the city.

Such a great venue to take a flight through a region or style of wine that you like. The staff are all great with their hospitality and knowledge. For a non cheese eater the charcuterie options are excellent and tasty.

Nice wine varietals, good service, and huge shop. They do have something for everyone, whether it's regions, grape varietals, or even price points. The ladies serving us on a weekend were super nice, very meticulous with their showcase, and good with their recommendations.

We got ourselves the tasting flights, and that allowed us to try a series of wines that they carry, before going deeper into any specific wines that we like.

My wife and I did the wine and caviar tasting. What a fantastic experience. The wines were superb, caviar also very nice, but it was the exceptionally knowledgeable and chatty staff that really made this experience. Highly recommend.

We popped into Handpicked yesterday after craving for a cheeseboard and some wine. It was the first time we went in after walking past many times seeing people doing wine tasting there. We decided on the Wine Tasting Flights (#1 & #4) with the cheese pairing and they were absolutely delicious! The wines selection was very unique which lead us to tasting a few we wouldn't have normally ordered ourselves. We ordered some crackers and tried out the chilli salumi as well. Overall a great late afternoon adventure with 5 star service.

I have a couple of hours free so decided to drop by for wine tasting since this is the only "Cellar Door" in Sydney who replies my emails. Very beautiful place which puts me in the mood for some serious wine tasting. Was serviced by this petite quiet looking Chinese lady who impressed me with her wine knowledge (WSET level 3!) and excellent service. So sorry I forgot her name. Tasted a lot of wine and it was great to be able to taste 3 different kinds of Riesling and 4 different Pinot Noir from the same producer (but different regions of Australia). Highly recommend!

Great wine tasting in a very nice environment. Knowledgable staff, and the food was great. Especially the smoked wagyu is amazing.

A really nice place with a great environment to taste wine. This is also a great place for a casual online meeting or a small talk between close friends to enjoy the after-work time.

I enjoyed my afternoon here with the tasting flight of Four Shades of Wine. This flight is friendly for ladies and also a great choice for wine beginners.

And last weekend I attended a workshop which was held by Handpicked Wines and Ding Tai Fung. This was my first time to try traditional Chinese steam food with wines. I have to say it was a great experience. Both of the handpicked wines and Ding Tai Fung food are worth trying.

Stopped by here on a Sunday afternoon for wine tasting. The person who helped me out was so friendly and helpful in selections and we tailored the tasting based on what how I liked the first 2 samples I tried. If you buy 2 bottles they waive the tasting fee. They also gave flights and charcuterie boards. The tasting room is also near a bunch of restaurants in spice alley... definitely a fun night to spend with someone!

While the wine is great, and the concept is excellent. The staff and customer service couldn't suck more. It's atrocious.
If you're going to come here, make sure you have plenty of time and are very VERY patient.

We've been here a couple of times as we LOVE the pinot, so I booked the mezzanine for my wife's 40th. It's an exceptional venue for a event - the area is decked our gorgeously (photos don't do it justice), and the grazing table was chefs kiss 😙�'�. The wines were impeccable as always, and superb value for money. Added bonus was access to a projector for speech time! A huge thanks to Lisa for being super friendly and helpful organising the event, and Sara for some great recommendations.

Such a fantastic place. Visited a number of times now and wine and service never disappoints.
Went for the wine flight on our list trip. I love that each guest can choose their own flight that suits them (so red-wine only, or on white only drinkers don't have to compromise!). Can also pair with the cheeses, but we ordered our own cheese and cold meats so everyone could share instead. Every wine was exquisite, and the cheese and meats were equally as good. So lucky to have this place right on our doorstep in Chippendale. Lucky but also dangerous! Its a wine shop as well as a restaurant/bar, so all to easy to pick up a bottle!

Had a fantastic time there, was a late walk in but were accommodated quickly. Ended up getting the Wine and Cheese experience which was amazing, I unfortunately couldn't eat the cheese but the Chef easily swapped my serving out with some delectable cuts of meat instead. Leah was incredible, very friendly and knowledgeable, had some great insights into the wine and regions and made the experience so much better. Will definitely be returning next time we're out this way 😁
