Harrietville Snowline Hotel - Pub in Harrietville Victoria

This is how good old fashioned hospitality should be. The local baker recommended us to this lovely pub, which ended up being amazing. The staff were fantastic and very friendly, Sarah kept an eye on us as we sat outside by the amazing pit fire and our two fur babies. The manager/duty mgr gave my husband a beanie, he looked cold and probably felt sorry for him lol. It's a hotel with a relaxed atmosphere and a setting that's conducive to striking up a conversation with locals and travellers alike, both of which we did. Living on King Island we can be a bit fussy with meat but my husband and the most delicious and perfectly cooked local rump. We started off with made fresh prawn toast - homemade, was so good & I had a chicken red curry that was the best. Don't know how we found room after the well portioned size meals but it just sounded way too good, so we shared a dessert. I've attached a photo of what it was, a perfect winter delight.
