Headlands Hotel Austinmer Beach

Oh this was NICE! First time visitor. Sensational location, service was awesome, and food was brilliant. Was a super busy day and they said 45 minute on food. 20 minutes later it was there. Only downside for this Gen X guy was the QR code menu. I really hate that stuff. And don't even ask me for a tip. Hate that even more. Already had to unsubscribe from emails. Dislike that too. I'm not a local, it was a family do, may come back in the future, but don't push that stuff. I get it for younger folk, but that's not your only crowd.

Fabulous, a lovely studio room, super clean, great sea view. Comfy bed.
We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner here over 3 days and nights
Every meal was delicious and service was excellent.
The place was packed, there were wedding functions, and a wedding, the staff were getting smashed.
But there was no delays and every meal was faultless.
Hats off to the young team, everyone of them were fabulous, helpful and friendly.

The hotel has many good points: clean common areas, helpful staff, and good value. But during my stay in room 04, I got bitten by bedbugs. It was disappointing because everything else was nice. I really hope the hotel takes immediate action to fix this, as it would make the experience much better for future guests.

Called in for lunch after a morning on the beach. Managed to find 1 parking spot (so keep that in mind for the next time).
Elevator was out of service, so a slow climb for a couple from our party.
Once we were at the top, plenty of tables inside & out, a really good selection on the menu - we chose some seafood dishes - and a few drinks.
Great portions and an awesome view to make a very memorable lunch.

Headlands Hotel Austinmer truly provided the best wedding venue on the South Coast. Not only are the views stunning, but the service and care taken by Teagan and her team were truly next level.
