About The Healesville Hotel

A friend and I cycled from the city, stayed the night here and cycled home the next morning. We were given secure storage for our bikes, the building is charming, rooms and beds are a generous size, location is great, as are the shared bathrooms. We didn't get to eat here because the pub section was closed on the Monday we stayed, but plenty of options around. Only negative was the bar fridge in my room creaked a fair bit and there was road noise outside, the white noise app on my phone sorted that out though. I would gladly come back here.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, very comfortable.
We loved it. Everything we needed was provided. It felt very luxurious to us.

Bit of a mixed bag review. Rooms come with complimentary earplugs for a reason. No sleep here until the pub shuts down, and you will be awake as soon as the first guest is up. Rooms are clean, building is very nice overall. We ate outside in the beer garden, Calamari was great, Chips were ok, but the Pizza was really bad (ate a slice each and left the rest). Beer garden is very nice with a firepit etc.

Party of 10. Sat inside in cozy almost private room. Great for winter. Service was good. Food was average. Nothing anyone raved about, and a comment of Roast of the day overcooked and pasta dish was all chilli and no other taste. For serving sizings it's not cheap for pub food. Great beer and wine selection. Good location on the main street. Had to park a bit away for an 86 year old in the group. Nice enough, but I would not go back.

Food is good. Good veggies options in this pub. Plenty of alcohol variety. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor. Staff are very friendly. Street parking available nearby. Charred broccoli is very good. Cooked to perfection. Topped with nuts to add texture. Seating consider comfortable. Huge TV inside the bar. Outdoor seating have heater.

Food was excellent as was the service. Food allergies catered for without a fuss ; lovely battered gf fish n chips was a surprise instead of standard grilled. Large portions and very reasonably priced. Thank you.
