Was here today with my client for lunch as the tradies bistro was closed due to covid. Wow the bistro here was amazing and for $13.00 for the best steak and fish and chips ever was outstanding value. Tom and josh were so great to us as there service was amazing and had plenty of time for a chat. This is going to be a place for lunch from time to time as it's just to good to miss. Give it ago and you too will love it as much as we did.

Not to bad for an old pub, food is pretty good with a little play area out the back, gaming area is a tad small

I often come with the family and the bistro is unbelievable. The food is great and the service, especially from Enji is excellent. Would highly recommend. The food is clean and the portions are large. Enji is very helpful, and the service was great. Thank you to the bistro team.

I really want this place to up its game. It's in a great location. We keep trying it, hoping it gets better but so far we keep getting disappointed. The service at the bar can often take a while and the food from the bistro is regularly over cooked and dry.

We visited for drinks. The bar was very loud, mostly because that is where the televisions playing sports reside. We moved to the beer garden, which was pleasant and clean. We stayed for an hour and enjoyed ourselves. As an aside, they have Howling on tap, a local apple cider from Darkes Forest. It was lovely.

Asked for a glass of sparkling white wine and got a moscato . Said they didn't stock sparkling white. They should . Food was average . The burger bun was dry and not fresh . Ceasar salad very average compared to other pubs I've been to . It's meant to have beautiful fresh cos lettuce leaves , not chopped up iceberg lettuce. The egss were very hard boiled .
