Really am trying to give this place a go, but every single time it's terrible!!
Food always comes out at different times never all together!
Wait times are ridiculous, sticky date pudding waited 60 mins for a piece of hard rubber that I had to cut with a knife and fork!
This is it for me now unfortunately!

Nice meals and a courtesy bus they also run!
Believe it has new owners however the place hasn't really changed and is a great local pub!

Went to the Railway Hotel for a counter tea in the company of some locals plus two Irish and two French travellers. We were all impressed by the superbly cooked meals and the large servings. The two French travellers ordered huge hamburger schnitzels and the meal sizes overwhelmed them so much they asked the hotel staff if they could take half their meals home to put in the fridge. The super friendly staff were more than happy to oblige. The Europeans thought the value for money was exceptional and loved the pub's atmosphere. So too did their hosts, the locals. We all thought the Railway Hotel deserved 5 stars.

The pub was fully packed but we had booked the rooms to go to the Sale Airshow 2024 and the rooms was so comfortable...big, clean and really a very awesome experience.
Will stay there if we ever visit that side.

Nice little local pub. Great atmosphere and friendly staff and local patrons. Nice restaurant area and food look beautiful with decent portion sizes (I didn't have a meal, just saw a few go past) would recommend stopping in if your going past.
