We used the function room upstairs for a lunch celebration after a registry wedding and it was perfect! Staff were friendly and helpful and the upstairs space is an amazing venue for a private function. I would recommend working out your food options beforehand as a couple of the meals were on the dry side.

Lily gave such great service! Was attentive, made sure tables were clear of empty drinks and remembered the customers she was dealing with fostering a great environment!

I visit occasionally at lunch time with colleagues when I'm in the CBD. I can count on a decent chicken parmy, while my colleague enjoys the steak. The atmosphere is a little flat but it is lunch time after all. Service is generally good but I'm not sure the staff particularly want to be there. We'll still be back though, so it's an overall 'like' from me, with room for improvement π

Absolute worst service from a bartender tonight. Was given off red wine (vinegar) instead off a nice Pinot noir and given a 'pale ale' that looked like someone had just put a bread stick in a glass and added water.

Had a function in the upstairs room. Good venue, reasonably priced meals and drinks.
Historian Hotel is open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 AM to 6 PM. They are also open Thursday and Friday from 11 AM to 11 PM.
