The food is excellent here, you gotta try a BBC! Great atmosphere, delightful staff, awesome and varied events and diversity to cater for everyone! As well as being steeped in history, being oldest gay bar in Brisbane. The Wickham is a must visit destination!

I'm just your average shy Trans man who wanted to play the Pokies at a venue I could feel safe in. Great venue, good machines and the service was awesome. A massive Thank you to the beautiful lady behind the bar who noticed I was at one point feeling uncomfortable with another customer invading my personal space. you made my night and I will be back again ( even if just to say hi to you) Thank you!

I love The Wickham for their food, and the general atmosphere. I've come here to make the effort of leaving a review though due to not once, but twice now, being referred to as "ladies" and "girls". One of these times, I was in the literal all gender bathroom. Venues like these should be safe havens and honestly know so much better. If my corporate workplace can do it, then so can you! I won't be back. It's so tiring and upsetting to deal with.

Went for a Tuesday night so I didn't expect the vibes to be huge. But very disappointed when we went for the $15 burger deal + $5 schooner as advertised on the website. Turns out that is no longer available allegedly due to "new menu" and was charged the full price of $32 which is still outrageously overpriced for a standard chicken burger. Might I suggest an update on the website to ensure current deals ?
The Wickham is open Monday and Tuesday from 10 AM to midnight. They are also open Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 AM until 2 AM the following morning. On Friday and Saturday they're open from 10 AM until 3 AM the following morning.
