In the heart of Surfers Paradise, we found a little gem with a large range of craft beers, unique cocktails and tasty lunch options.
We had the lamb skewers and garlic prawns to share, which was plenty.
Pleading my craft brew hubby is often a challenge yet he was in heaven.
Superb service, comfy stools, it was an all round great spot.

Good cocktails but the food was very ordinary indeed.
Comfortably the worst Bao buns I have ever tasted. I'm not sure what "HOB Style" baos are, but it was like 2 solid pieces of stale brioche with an overcooked chicken piece jammed inside. Very dry and tasteless.
The food was overpriced as well.
$19 for 2 small lamb koftas was inexcusable.
Great beer range and decent cocktails but the menu needs an overhaul.

However, nachos were very disappointing. Barely any salsa, beans or gauc causing so many of the chips to have no toppings on the lower and outer layers. They looked great when they came out but then disappointed. We ended up ordering more toppings but it was an extra expense when nachos really should be covered.

Staff was very friendly and we did receive could service. Fun vibe in House of Brews.

Great spot near the Hilton on High St. Great music. Good service nice and quiet ATM at about 1 pm. My adventure today was the Massive Nacho it was a good size for my individual lunch (remember the meat) choice of topping in meat and a vegetarian version of jack fruit. My one today was pulled beef about 300g+ of meat enough to cover all sections. On my 30 cm by 20 cm tray hot out of the oven. Loaded with salsa, guacamole, jalapeno, and sour cream. I guess they think it's a share plate. Not in my case 1+kg of corn chips and topping all done in 20 min.
The mate American style cheese burger and chips was a good portion for him with a serving of chip nice size lunch for a normal quantity person. Nice tasting and good quality.
Pair with a nice creamy Vietnamese coffee beer myself and a crisp stone wood ale for him.
Parking is pretty close too, a nice area I'm up for this adventure again.

Great place and location the food is bloody tasty and good quality we will be back for sure
