Huge thank you to all the staff that catered for my sons birthday last night, at Jessie's Cocktail Bar . The service was excellent, food was delicious and all our guests feedback was complimentary. Sarah was lovely to deal with and Ben did a great job on the night. Would definitely recommend for an event.

Came for dinner. Food is very average (apart from the steak which was surprisingly decent). None of the beer taps were operational for the entire night. Overall lack of atmosphere and service. Disappointing.

None of the beer on tap worked. When we questioned whether the the second floor had working beer on tap the tall, Caucasian, bad tempered barman said he had no idea and it wasn't his problem. Sad to encounter someone so indifferent to their profession. We were a group of 6 in our fifties with money to spend! As a self employed person with my own staff the attitude was incomprehensible to me. We left.

Food on the first floor of the pub was yummy, good for when you're sitting having drinks kind of food types. Drinks were nice also one staff member did come off a little bit short although every other staff member was lovely. Just to warn anyone the stairs down to the bathrooms are very very steep

The food was superb and at a great price.. didn't mind the music... Though the volume whether with music or when busy without music can be difficult to have a talk with your group..all in all though it's a must to go to

Popped in here for lunch after a trip to the museum and the staff were so lovely and friendly but the food was a stand out...
I had sirloin steak with mash, mushroom gravy and salad... That steak was one of the best steaks I've eaten in a very long time! It was tender and perfectly cooked! The mash was buttery (although I'm Irish and would have put even more butter on it if I could 😂). The mushroom gravy wasn't a thick creamy gravy, it was a tasty thinner gravy... Yum!
