I was in salubrious Wee Waa for three nights and gave my custom to the club, the Wee Waa Motel, and finally, the Imperial Hotel. The pub (and club for that matter) is a nightly suppository for pre-diabetic locals drowning out the miseries of a multitude of lifetimes of poor decisions. The restaurant could be quite warming and homely if they tried, but with new LED lighting and zero effort on decor, it's white and bleak (not quite as depressing as the clinically white drab Club down the road). I had the garlic bread and 3x lamb cutlets ($33), which were disappointing overcooked brake pads. The salad and chips were standard pub fare. It's no culinary feast. Think of it as filling your daily calorie requirements. Other menu options are the ubiquitous Aussie pub barra or schnitty, or a 400g T bone or rib eye. Rissoles for $19 if you're cash strapped.
