I ordered the Porterhouse steak and it was amazing. Seriously one of the nicest steaks I have had in a long time, with the fat nicely rendered. The accompanying salad was also fantastic- just a perfect little salad, very well balanced with red onion and a hint of mint. Even better, the meals came out within about ten minutes.

We celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary by having lunch at this great country pub and we were not disappointed!!
The pork belly was delicious and the sticky date pudding was truly scrumptious!!
Fabulous service and location!!

The ultimate country pub. Family owned and run by the fabulous Georgie. This hidden gem has great food, an amazing history, brilliant wine list and top notch service. It's the kind of pub where you could arrive, eat a meal and end up staying until dinner. A firm favourite!

Great little pub, take 2 stomachs because the meals are huge and amazing.
Service is great and friendly.
Drinks cold, fire blazing.
Georgina's service was outstanding, no idea who the chef is, but I have a feeling he may have won Masterchef.
Can't recommend it enough.
If you are a Jayco Caravan owner, you will see this review on that page as well.
Our second visit, because the first was just as good.
Her name was Geraldine, the service then was a cracker as well.

Great atmosphere and lovely food. Lots of history with this pub. Check out the photos on the walls. Staff were very friendly. Do yourself a favour. Well worth the drive.
