Didn't eat, had a glass of wine, very nice. Staff friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was great seating comfortable and open fire was warm. Restaurant looked good so will return!

It's a grand joint - to be sure, to be sure 😁
Zip and I did a sneaky trip to Ballarat and happened to catch up with some fam at Irish Murphys and it was good craic! Infact it was recommended by the Hotel I was staying at (Quest) and the Tourist Bureau - and as it was just near me too, it was the perfect SAT night catchyupsee with my big sis and bruv inlaw!
The staff were lovely - welcomed my little mate Zip - had some nice meals (my bangers and mash wasn't the best I've had, but still, good pub grub) ... and we were also there when the band got going and they were pretty good fun!
Can only encourage peeps to give it a 'craic' heh heh
Of course, I've included some Zippy Spam (our arrival to Ballarat Train Station)

Love this little Irish pub. This was our 2nd time visiting on our way back to SA. Love the atmosphere and the staff. The authentic Irish food is delicious. Highly recommend.

Warm, pleasant venue, has a very calm feeling about it....bar staff are really friendly.....dinner is always good, not sure about the Boxty though....served with Mediterranean vegetables, not my taste I'm afraid. Fish and Chips is always a good choice, tried the Parma, good size for the price, but the side salad isn't a salad...it's a small pot of cabbage with a dressing....avoid that. Open steak sandwich is a must, the Guinness pie is awesome and do try the sticky date pudding.....Love this place.....old style decor, bit of a mixture of antiques here and there...but a great place to visit if you like to relax and hang out to listen to live music when they appear.
