Kendalls Hotel-Motel & Bistro - Pub in Scottsdale Tasmania

Rude! I ordered a dish called pepper steak stir-fry. It was a mush with a little meat and a small amount of capsicum mixed in that was VERY salty. I went to the bar to order another meal and said my meal was salty. The bar person asked another customer if his was salty LAST NIGHT, and he said he wasn't sure. Why even ask?? She didn't even take the plate away. I ordered a chicken breast with garlic prawns. It was a very flat breast, nice prawns in a floury sauce with very little garlic. We eat out a lot all over Australia with our business but can categorically say 2 of the worst meals I've ever eaten with some of the worst service to boot.

Good honest country pub great barman/owner good accommodation clean and good facilities.

I was passing through and stopped in for a go on the pokies, asked for cash out and the response wasn't great! There's a bank over the road I got told. I am not local didn't know there was a bank! It's a gaming venue and the money was spent there, maybe in future don't have smart remarks..

Lapped the state and of the pub meals we had, was a clear stand out! Great blended menu of expected country pub grub and unique locally sourced produce (the chicken schnitzel topped with a curry of Tassie sea scallops was divine). Large servings and amazing hospitality, thank you 😊
