I would like to give Fiona a big shout out and thank her for going beyond what she needed to do for me. I left a new dress behind when staying in the accommodation, and didn't realise until many weeks later. My partner made contact and Fiona found the dress and posted it back to me. Fiona I would like you to know how much I appreciated that and I hope you are around when I come back next time so I can thank you personally. The night we stayed the staff were so friendly and the food was great, the accommodation was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. Keppel Sands Hotel Motel are very lucky to have such wonderful staff.

Meet friends there, hadn't been there in years, it's been refurbished, very lovely place plenty of dinning room inside and out, meals were very nice, a little excy but enjoyable

We had lunch here on a Friday. The old building has been renovated, extended, and painted to give an open, sunny feel. There were about 20 people in the front bar, creating a lively atmosphere. Out in the back bar, there were a few couples enjoying a quiet lunch.
We had a table in the "beer garden" area. This was under a shade-cloth, and was cool enough to be pleasant.
The food is standard pub fare, reasonably priced and well cooked. No complaints there.
The usual array of beers and drinks were available. I was drinking non-alcoholic beer (I needed to drive home).
Part of the attraction of the place is its location. Just 100 metres away is the beach. At low tide, the beach is hundreds of metres wide. Great for walking etc. At high tide, the view to the islands is beautiful. Also, there is a lookout on top of the hill at the "Northern" end of town.
All of this adds up to a great afternoon out.

Heard it was worth s visit since the Hotel had been renovated. Yes it was busy, the music was loud and the raffle caller was even louder. I do not know why we bothered ... NEVER AGAIN!!! We ordered 4 meals at 1205hrs last Sunday 2 meals arrived in a good time, went to see where the others were oops the original order was lost, so the girl behind the bar ordered again, another 30 minutes goes by still no meals, spoke to 3 other staff including the Manager and all they were interested in was giving us a round of drinks. 2 meals finally arrived at 1350hrs, only 1 hour 45 minutes from the initial order and were the steak sandwich and buger worth waiting for ... certainly NOT!!!

What a total WAFTAM. ordered 4 meals. They took the order only registered and charged me for 2 meals, even though she read out the 4 meals ordered.

Waited the 1/2 hour for the meals. Then another 15 gor the kitchen to bring the other 2. Went up to enquire ordered 2 more meals. Half an hour goes by. Enquire, what meals! Spoke to staff they got the manager. He took our order noting two different table numbers.

20 minutes go by. Spoke to another staff member, they didn't have our order.
Another 20minutes goes by and the meals arrived, different to what I ordered but you take what your given, I suppose when you are Hungary.
Piss poor by any standard.

We had dinner here tonight, we had 3 different main meals and 1 starter. All were very nice but above the quality of the food was the staff. The guy behind the bat was a great guy (I'm not sure of his name) and Fiona went out of her way to make us a coffee. They were all great ??'?

No idea about the rooms.

Fabulous newly renovated hotel. Food is great and reasonably priced. Wine also. Would highly recommend visiting here.

Don't order off the older staff if your a young lady, you will get spoken down to, and meals will be withheld and pushed until the last docket when you go and try update staff that youv moved tables- they take it as if your pushing them to hurry your order. order a small bowl of chips for our young boy, waited over and hour , possibly even closer to two. And still got nothing. Ended up leaving without nothing. When we updated them that we want our money back they said our bowl of chips was right there on its way- even though that exact bowl of chips 3 mins before was being walked around restaurant lost and we asked the waitress if it was 34s bowl and she said NOOO ours is a few dockets away.
Staff do not have a clue what is going on, got told it was a quiet Sunday for them- I'd hate to see them on their actually busy sundays. No tables would be receiving correct meals if not wouldn't receive anything.
Would absolutely love to speak to a manager, but "they weren't in"
I've had my fair share of management in restaurants, and hate leaving reviews, but the service I received as a young lady was disgusting.

What an absolute pleasure this place is now .. beautiful layout and has been upgraded beyond belief. The staff are welcoming, the beers cold and a great choice of food ???"?. So do yourself a favour and head out today and enjoy.

We went for lunch, it's a newly renovated hotel and they have done a fantastic job. The food needs a bit of sorting out but as I said it's only early days for them. We wish them the best of luck as it's a great place ??'?

Looking bright and fresh!
Well worth a visit!
We wandered a few hundred metres down from the dog friendly caravan park after arriving there a bit late!
We discovered a spacious bright bar, lots of indoor tables and a massive covered deck for dining, but also a huge covered area on the opposite side where we could sit and dine with our two pups.
Food was great, Bruschetta was crispy with fresh tasty tomato topping & the sauce smothered chicken wings were finger lickingly good! The mains were equally delicious, Prawn and Chorizo risotto was beautifully creamy and lots of flavours coming through.
The meat eaters pizza with roast beef & roast pork was delish!
Caprese Salad, with lovely fresh tomatoes and mozzarella as it should be!
Service was great! Staff were attentive & friendly!
The locals were chatty and I think pretty chuffed their revamped local!
Well done Keppel Sands Hotel, we'll be back, probably tomorrow night!

What a transformation, refreshed surroundings and the pub looks awesome. Lunch was delicious ? nice cold beverages and exceptional friendly and welcoming staff. Will definitely be back.

One star because it is never open. Keppel Sands seems to be a place that is being reclaimed and should never have been developed. This business has struggled just like the community.

Staff in kitchen area are rude. Waited over 1hour and a half for our lunch that didn't even come out, they served everyone else their lunches except us, told us they had no salad left anyway, got our money back, after publican was very apologetic, still didn't fix the problem that we wasted 2hrs of sitting there waiting for food that was never coming out. Won't be back. Also smells of sewage

Up on a work trip and never before have i got a minute steak for a eye fillet and the staff said well your not on the gold coast now obviously not atleast we get what we order and we also get a clean unit but not at this venue if you would call it that.

Great little pub in the centre of keppel sands. Friendly atmosphere, a place where you can go and meet the locals. Good bistro offering lunch and dinner. Meals affordable and good size portions. Can get busy on a weekend for lunch. Highly recommend

The Old owner has come back and it's feeling like the old Kepple Sands Hotel again.

Good cold beer and super friendly.

I haven't had a drink here yet but i will. The lady behind the bar was so helpful by steering me into the right direction of disposing empty bottles. Small town pub, love it!

Lovely little pub in quiet seaside town. Went with friends for a catch up. Definitely worth a visit.
