King Island Hotel - Pub in Currie Tasmania

We arrived on King Island on Thursday 23/9/24 for 4 days. Our first meal was a Parma and it has taken the mantle as the best I've had! The service was friendly and welcoming. It was busy and had a great vibe amongst patrons! Don't miss the Thursday Parma!

Had a fantastic 3 nights at the hotel .felt very welcoming on arrival by sandy. The room was excellent.being in the heart of town was ideal.we had all our meals in the dining room which were outstanding,best eye fillet steak and fresh crayfish ever had.the locals and owner John smith were very accommodating in sharing local stories.I recommend this hotel to any visitor.lot of fun

We stayed for 5 nights and was more than happy with our stay. Great food and atmosphere. Would definitely stay again

Really enjoyed our times spent here. Had dinner the night we arrived on the island and ordered crayfish for the Wednesday after. The food was amazing. I had the crumbed Camembert both times as it's my favourite. Staff are very professional and quick.

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are good, clean, and well presented. It is in the centre of the main town on the island, across from the grocery store and pharmacy, next to the bakery. This is a country town and is generally very quiet. Our room looked over the carpark, I don't know what the other side looks out to. There's a bistro downstairs as well as the pub. I can't see any lifts, so I don't know if there's accessibility for people with limited mobility.
It is a great base for exploring the island. Would happily stay here again.
