Great service & great food, well done to the team. We are lucky to have a place like this locally

We went for dinner tonight, there were 4 of us, including an elderly couple. We booked for 6:45pm. We arrived at 6:25pm and were advised to wait. Our table wasn't ready until 7:00pm. We ordered at 7:05pm. At 7:45pm the manager came over and apologised for the long wait for our food. He said the chef had lost it and wasn't coping! We advised him we would wait until 8pm and if our meal wasn't there we would leave. At 8:05pm after an hour wait we left.
The staff were nice and were doing their best under the circumstances. I felt for the wait staff however it was poor management and totally unacceptable for the kitchen staff to put them in that position.
We won't be going back any time soon. They need another 6 months to fine tune the place!

Went here for dinner after the recent renovations. The staff are lovely, but still a little green (they made some mistakes, took our plates too eagerly and checked in on us too frequently)

Food is good, but not great. I got the Chicken Parmi which tasted great, good portion size, crispy crumb. But the chicken was dry (it was 2 filleted breasts, not tenderised).

The salad served with it was more like a garnish, delicious, but only a few dressed leaves and slices of cucumber.

I do like that you can choose from any of the sides to accompany the parmis (more than the usual chips/salad/veg offerings)

The fondant potatoes were delicious, but a little floury. The beet salad was excellent.

We also got the beef burger, which lacked a little in the presentation and the bun was lacklustre, but overall delicious.

Chips and gravy hit the spot.

Overall the vibe is lovely in there now it's freshened up, with a few new little nooks and crannies to hang out in, making the sound quality fairly high. I was easily able to have conversations even though the place was moderately busy.

I'll go back again, but not in a hurry.

Love the new bar. Service is still a bit stiff. Can't wait to see the restaurant. Will be back :)

Just had Lunch here... Was so happy with the friendly welcoming service of staff in the restaurant.
I had the Creamy Basil pasta and a side salad... So fresh and delicious. My partner had the Aussie parmi, that was very nice too, but the chips weren't very nice. Apart from that I couldn't fault anything in the facility 😀😍
