Stopped by for a quick lunch and enjoyed a selection of snacks and small plates. The snapper dish was a standout - full of flavor and cleverly prepared! The tartare was a bit overwhelming for my taste, but the wine recommendation was spot on. Great food, good wine. I'll definitely be back to try more!

A gem in Melbourne! This wine bar is an absolute delight. The big windows flood the space with light, creating a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The steak was incredibly cooked, and the salad was so fresh. Pairing it with a beautiful glass of wine made the experience even more memorable. While the tables are small and the space can feel tight, it only adds to the cozy charm. I highly recommend visiting in groups of two or three unless you plan to sit outside. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to repeat it!

This place is located in the centre of CBD, tucked away in Hardware Lane. Came in for some drinks but end up ordering this two dishes and it was delicious. Gnocchi was a must for me. Service was wonderful

Small wine bar located on Melbourne's famous Hardware Lane, a collection of small bars and restaurants. Offers indoor and outdoor seating to take advantage of that beautiful Melbourne weather. Offers a wide selection of wines, ciders and spirits by the glass. Nice spot to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon before grabbing dinner somewhere nearby.

The perfect weekly lunch spot to catch up with friends and have a glass of wine. I really admired Kirk's and its concept. It reminds me a lot of what Melbourne is about. It's hidden situated on the corner of Hardware lane, with indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside because of the weather but it was honestly such a beautiful space to sit in, very bright and open. We ordered a few dishes to share and 4 dishes between the 3 of us was the perfect amount of food to fill us up. I ordered one of the skin contact wines which paired perfectly with the food. The staff as well were very attentive and food came out very quickly.
Kirk's Wine Bar is open Monday through Thursday from noon to 10 PM, and Friday through Saturday from noon to 11 PM. Open 6 days (closed Sunday).
