Stayed in July overnight on the way to Queenstown with two kids. Rooms were very basic, but clean. Beds were comfy. The whole upstairs accommodation area seems to have been given a fresh coat of paint & small upgrades.
Service was excellent, the food was fantastic (in both size & quality). Staff were really friendly.
Good experience at an authentic Australian country pub.

Very welcoming environment. Warm rooms and good hot showers! Great price for accommodation or if stopping by for dinner (delicious food)

Got the Cottage Pie, fantastic.

Stopped here for lunch on the way from Hobart to Strahan. Wasn't expecting much, but wow what a pleasant surprise. We had the beef schnitzel and chicken schnitzel and they were top notch. Not much at all on the menu for vegetarians ("we live in the country, we have cows and sheep and that's what we do around here") but they kindly whipped out some vegetarian spring rolls which were excellent! Definitely recommend as a great lunch stop over
