Don't let the modest 60's exterior fool you. This pub and bistro may not have the heritage facade of others in town but the hospitality and meals are some of the best in the area. Large portions and exceptional quality for steak and famous local Cowra lamb. Fresh vegetables (not frozen) with meals make for real quality country food. Surprises like Duck Ragu will also please those who like something special. My folks have run pubs for years and now grey nomads around the country...said it's the best steak and veges they have had anywhere. You'll also find a good range of wines outside the basic pub fare. Angela and Michael do a great job celebrating local produce and catering to a variety of tastes. Highly recommended.
