Lake George Hotel Bungendore - Pub in Bungendore New South Wales

Rack of lamb was the worst restaurant meal I have ever had.
It was so small with almost no meat or vegetables.
It was overspiced, fatty and for the price - ridiculous.
When I mentioned my thoughts to the manager as I was leaving, he actually tried to defend it.
My advice, stay away.

Can not stress enough how amazing the staff was hear during our stay the weekend just passed !!
Especially the manager on duty whom I believe was named Brett!
He went beyond what was expected to ensure our stay was nothing short of fantastic ???-

i do not recommend staying here!
i asked for a quiet room, so they put me in a demountable cabin right next to the children's playground area, i was so close i could shake hands with them. i had to listen to them screaming the whole time i was there. the cabin was dirty, with fly-screen's missing and an old nylon blanket to keep warm. The cabin was like an after thought, it was thrown between a fence and a road with no view it was really terrible. Definitely do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.

Was harassed by drunk patrons twice in one day whilst driving past the pubs - when I rang to complain the manager would not call me back.
After ringing everyday for a week I finally got onto him... he was ruder than his patrons. More interested in talking over the top of me, telling me it never happened and making me out to be the unreasonable one. Why on earth would I make it up?
Absolutely disgraceful way to treat a woman (or anyone really).

The lake George hotel has lovely rooms to stay in. Amazing staff that are, chatty, funny and helpful. The location is great but it would have been better if it was where the top pub is.
There is a bistro and restaurant. They are both magnificent. If you're looking for a big meal a schnitty or Parmi is the way to go. They change their menu every season. Including pizza and dessert menu. There is a nice bar at both bistro and restaurant and there is a wide selection of drinks at both.
There is some pub dishes and some fusion sort of foods or different cuisines and they are all pretty delicious. This is my favourite pub in Australia that I have been to and I've travelled Australia for 2 years.
