No area in the pub is dog friendly including the outdoor smoking deck. The barmaid who we asked whilst still on the street was rude and very abrupt when we enquired if it was possible to come in. Disappointing as we were told it was a friendly pub. Much better service received from the bottle shop next door.

The staff were so so rude, food was terrible too. On a seperate occasion, my 17-year-old daughter and her friends went there for her birthday and when they sat down to look at the menu the waitress rudely demanded they show ID (they have video proof) to which they replied with no and that they were only getting food, not alcoholic drinks. They were yelled at to which everyone turned and stared. Birthday ruined.

Horrible staff, not friendly. Don't recommend.

Response to Review: Thank you for your response. There was an elderly lady at the the bar who was extremely rude and unnecessary blunt. However, as the night progressed there were staff who were welcoming and pleasant. The food was nice. As a whole we were very displeased with our initial service and this should be addressed.

This pub in Morrisset is a bit daggy, well overdue for a make over. But don't let the decor fool you. If you are looking for an excellant meal. That fills the plate, coupled with good service than pub has it. A real surprise on the gateway into south west Lake Macquarie
