Terrible venue to deal with as a music promoter. They will secure you a booking with fake promises and then hold you to a contract which was never signed or agreed to & blackmail/force you to make payment on no grounds based on a minimum bar spend which we were told we could 'reevaluate based on ticket sales'. They will send you texts from multiple phones consistently threatening trying to get payment & also call you ruthlessly in the middle of the night. We sold 10 tickets leading up to the event and were told 'this isn't a basis for reevaluation'. Backed us into a corner and forced us to go ahead with the event after falsely giving us security and offering 'support for new/upcoming promoters' I recommend any promotors/artists looking to book this venue should be very weary with how they approach and deal with Tina & Dave.
Not only this, the venue sound technician is very aggressive and did not give us the chance to edit the sound configuration to suit our event. We brought our own personal sound tech who was driven out of the venue by the venue's tech by aggression and rudeness. The sound tech then continued to spend the rest of the night outside the venue not managing sound levels and talking to bouncers/owner for the rest of the night, meaning the sound desk was unattended. When asked to make changed he told us 'this is my venue let me do it my way'. The venue has the worst sounding funktion one system we have ever heard in our lives.
Not one to usually leave reviews like this but I think it's important for the public/future promotors and artists to be aware of how this venue works so they don't have to go down the same path as us.

First time coming. I enjoyed the music, atmosphere, and vibes immensely. The staff were very friendly. There were all kinds of young people (different ethnicities, lgbt+ etc) and everyone was having fun and felt at ease. A very inclusive environment. There was one creep misbehaving with girls, but once we let the bartender know, he kicked the creep out of the club immediately! I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Terrible sound in the upstairs band room, great equipment but absolute run to the ground. if you plan to experience any artist you enjoy then see them anywhere else.

Staff were amazing and I had a top night. Saw one of my favourite artists live and the venue went above and beyond to facilitate him signing and taking photos after hours.

The staff member with the gap in her teeth is probably the cutest, fastest bar tender ever. The floor is hard to dance on though ngl and thats what a dance club is for
