We stayed earlier and we stayed again here in Laurieton hotel. Both times the experience was good. Rooms were clean and big for a family of 3. The beds were comfortable and the location was perfect for this hotel. I would recommend this hotel to stay if you are looking for a good place to stay at a reasonable price, where coles, pub and restaurants are near the hotel.

Tiny little motel room out the back which was ok as an overnighter. Same size as an airport overnighter. No frills but had WiFi, fridge, kettle and a hot shower. Original 60's basic decor.
Did us ok for an overnight stopover, look elsewhere for longer stays.
Staff were great.

On the Sunday of the long weekend, a group of us attended the bistro for dinner. The lovely lady was a jack of all trades and smiled through everything, although she was the busiest person in the place. Thanks for your smile and enthusiasm, whilst you took orders, delivered meals and basically were 3 people in one. Im super impressed. The meal was as lovely as this lady. Well done.

We went to the pub for dinner Monday night (the have 2 for 1 on Monday nights)
We decided to order from the main menu & we weren't disappointed.
Our meal was delicious & the service was fantastic
We both had the Peppered Scotch Fillet with Vegetables & red wine jus

Just wanted to share

Stayed twice as the gentleman that greeted me was outstanding came back as I want to support local business

Anyway went down for dinner 8:02 ( read that they are open to 8:30) non English person stated that the restaurant was closed, OK my bad asked can you recommend anywhere else answer NO

So I wonder the street across the road Great pizza place and great lady that service me at 8:16pm on Thursday night DELIZIOSO

Go there stay at the pub but please don't spend money on the food no love and no care factor...... I will question if I return to Laurieton as that has left a "bad" taste in my mouth
