The friendliest service ever! We were greeted with the warmest welcome, despite not being locals. They catered for my tricky onion dietaries with such professionalism and plenty of toys to keep our toddler entertained as there was a little wait for food but it was well worth it. I'd never had a Carbonara Parma and it was awesome - I'd definitely get it again. Thanks for such a wholesome experience.

Dropped in for lunch today, while friend and I were out roaming the country side and glad we did! My steak sandwich and chips was enormous and absolutely delicious. Plenty of lettuce and tomato and all so fresh. Friend had the bangers and mash and she was over the moon with it and we were both full to the brim. Best pub food we have had for a while. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend stopping here for a meal.

Jude and John are great hosts and we enjoyed our drinks and meals immensely. A great pub with a good selection of drinks and food and friendly locals. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Cycling the rail trail from Ballarat on a rainy day, we were really looking forward to a hot meal at the end of the cycle. And the food and the hospitality totally made up for it.

Great atmosphere and good country pub meals. Service is a bit slow but they are just a small hotel and the food is worth waiting for, especially as they will cater for special needs. We love it.

You guys deserve a medal....very busy night but you kept your cool. Meals were delicious...we will be back..thankyou... Brett Jenn Derek.

The place is clean and tidy and has its own characteristics. If you do stop in say Hi to John And Jude have a drink and definitely stay and have a feed.
I heard about the Linton railway hotel and how it has changed under new management . It was that good, I flew from Qld just to have a beer and a yarn and have some good tucker.

Dropped in for a casual lunch - very nice steak sandwhich! . John and Jude were lovely and Jude showed us the accomodation which looks very nice. I expect we will back to stay for a weekend soon.

Dropped in unnanounced at 7.30pm on Monday of Labour Day WE. First words we heard from our wonderful host/publican were "Welcome."
That is how staff and locals treated us. Meal was excellent value for money, high quality.
We shall return.

Excellent location! I free camped in the area across the road behind the pub. Incredibly peaceful. Powered sites are available directly behind the pub. Food is excellent and Jude who runs the hotel is terrific. She will assist with anything you need. There is accommodation inside the pub. Highly recommended stopping here.

Food was absolutely wonderful, well cooked and very satisfying.

Went to the Linton pub last night, staff are wonderful and so attentive. Food was fast and absolutely delicious! Best Parmas. Chips seasoned perfectly. And the best garlic sauce on the garlic prawns. Yum yum yum!!!! Great old school pub with beautiful meals. definitely coming back.

went to the pub for dinner last night. what can I say the parma is up there with one of the best I've had and the beer was cold. lovely people that own the pub will be back in no time. amazing guys

Fantastic country pub. Nice crisp CUB draught (and others) on tap. New owners in Auf 2021 and they are just as friendly and welcoming as the last ones. Good honest country grub later in the week. I've been a lot lately and it's really a lovely joint with a fireplace and fantastic locals.
