My partner and I were doing a camping trip across Tasmania, and the rains brought us to Lords Hotel!
Ken and Helen were excellent hosts, and made us feel right at home :)
Our room was very modern, with attached ensuite and kitchenette, and a huge tv!
The parma and sticky date pudding on the menu are highlights !

My partner and I stayed at the Lords Hotel whilst travelling through Tasmania. We met Ken and Helen who were amazing, in fact the whole team was great and super friendly.

The food was delicious, fast and so cheap for what you got. The parma and the sticky date pudding was to die for!

The room was so clean and really modern!

Nice hotel with pub under. Rooms were clean along with toilets and showers. The wifi didn't work though even with supposedly putting in the correct password. But the staff were nice

Great service, delicious fresh tasting and presented food but if I'm honest, was disappointed with just the one slice of turkey with my roast. Not pub standard sorry. Luckily I topped up from my wife's amazing chicken parmy.

What surprised us most was cheese in the salad and boiled egg ...wow !!!!!
So for a honest country pub feed ...do ya self a favour and pull up seat at lords ...

Great meals and beer! Shame the chips come under the meals to go soggy but can always be asked prior to make the adjustment.

Pretty good for a country pub, certainly better than Sheffields pub. Steak cooked perfectly.

Hotel was terrific great service good food cold beer Ken the host went out of his way to make sure were feed and refreshed. Rooms are very comfortable and clean liked the place so much we stayed 2 nights ??'? instead of the planed 1

We stopped for a dinner there from the recommendation from our host and it was very quiet and so the service was great ??'?, the meals were really good and tasty and the staff very friendly.

After a two hour drive, we were certainly ready to indulge in a great pub meal.
Sadly we decided to stop off at Lord's hotel. we ordered two medium rare steaks, however we received two well done steaks which wasn't even the worst part my partner wasn't happy with his streak, as we had spent $90 for dinner, however he had to take his own plate to the bar as no one even checked on us or set us with cutlery he was just told okay and they took his plate and chucked out his full meal without reimbursing him or bringing him a replacement, $40 well spent ?
Would strongly recommend trying somewhere else if you're not a regular as the staff member and the owner and were quite rude in telling me I didn't know what a medium rare steak was after they fished what they said was "my steak " out of the bin to show me. I guess my partner's and my 25 years combined experience in the hospitality industry count for nothing.
Do your self a favour and stop off somewhere else
(we just end up driving back to Surf Side on the east coast and had burgers which were delicious)

Very ordinary meals. Two Rissoles the size of dog's testicxxs, with tasteless gravy were very dry and the accompanying vegetables were either undercooked or overcooked - my wife left most of her meal. My seafood basket was just ok with 2 very small fish fillets, 2 prawns, 2 calamari (undercooked) and 2 scallops; a heap of chips was meant to make up for the lack of seafood I guess; salad was just ok. Never again.

Went to Lords hotel for lunch with my mum. Pleasant pub in a lovely town. I had the Lords hamburger and chips, mum had the roast of the day and we both enjoyed our lunches very much.

Our meal was delicious, service was quiet and pleasant husband loved the steak chicken and prawns was tasty but a bit on the dry side but overall we enjoyed our meals and our friend enjoyed her fish and chips with salad.??'?

Hi all this is just your classic old school corner pub. Great meals, easy going place. I did stay in the pub upstairs for one night. Clean, comfy and shared breakfast area and bathrooms. Cheap and cheerful. Great value.

Just had dinner here. Family of 3. Cape Grim Scotch Fillet all round, chips and salad. Perfectly cooked and served in a very short time. Brilliant value and very friendly staff - all covid sensible and smiling through their masks.

Good old pub, meals are good quality.

This was a typical small town pub. Public bar on one side,small eating areas on the other and a room full of pokies. The meals were chose we're a good quality and size. It was relatively expensive..but perhaps that's to be expected for a decent meal in a small town. The meal and drink choices were quire extensive and the staff very helpful.

Food was lovely. Staff friendly

Service was good , lamb was bleeding on the plate and lots of fat on the lamb, wasn't over impressed, the atmosphere was good though

Very nice little place play the pokies only a couple in their staff very nice and the food looks great not that I had any but I saw what people were getting served and wish I hadn't put all my hard earned cash into those poker machines and bought something to eat nevermind next time

Food was excellent. Much better than expected from a country pub. Wish they were all this good.
