No Splitting Bill.
We have been visiting the Lower as locals for at least 30 odd years since the days of the ball pit. We recently had a party of 35 people, my poor Dad had to foot the food & drinks bill for everyone. Yes some were able to fix him up. Other's didn't get the opportunity. This system is absolutely rediculous. We will sadly no longer travel back to visit the Lower & it's awesome playground unless this system changes. Many other businesses can work it out. Such a shame. Put a damper on what could have been a wonderful afternoon.

The LPH is a fantastic local hotel. Very friendly atmosphere in the restaurant, terrace bar and gaming areas. Excellent staff and management and a very good menu.

Love the Lower, great place, great atmosphere. Sitting among the trees is perfect for an afternoon beer.

Nice place set in a native environment. Meals aren't cheap for a pub. Love the beer garden on a sunny day and Melbourne cup day is huge here ??'??

Called up to check availability for dinner and was told not to worry about booking as a walk in will be fine for the function room or terrace bar. Arrived and was told by the Covid Marshall that everywhere was at capacity. Terrible experience and a total waste of our time, won't be returning.

This fantastic hotel is amazing its very modern the food here is brilliant its super tasty and will leave your mouth salivating the food here is super tasty and will leave you wanting more it has a kids play room the sports bar is great if you were looking for a great night out with great food I highly recommend the lower plenty hotel the staff are friendly and will greet you with a warm smile and a friendly hello the service here is excellent set in the heart of lower plenty

(January 2021)1st time dining at the terrace bar. Lovely views. Bar staff were friendly & professional. I had the southern fried chicken burger- it was delish!Does The Lower allow dogs at the terrace bar? Id love to go back in the future.

Visited Lower Plenty Hotel multiple times. Always a good time! Harder to get a booking lately due to number restrictions, completely understand that is out of venues hand.

Great place to take active kids... the playground is amazing! You won't see them except for dinner. The staff are friendly and make a point if bringing out the kids meals first so kids are fed and adults can talk!

Sitting on the Terrace, in the mottled sunshine with a cold beverage & tasty food. Could (almost) be 'normal'!Great afternoon spent catching up with family at a relaxed, funky pub.
