Lynch's Narooma, Narooma NSW

Review is for the restaurant. Have been coming here for years. Nice low key ambience with a fireplace and hopefully Merivale won't change this. Service is great, but it would want to be given the tipping culture that they're trying to introduce to the south coast. Fish pie used to be excellent but it's now more of a potato pie...still good, and I realise produce prices have gone up, but I'd prefer that they increased the prices by a few dollars rather than cutting quality. No plimsoll line on wine glass and definitely didn't get a 250ml pour...suspect it was the end of the bottle as tasted like it had been open for more than a day...not what you expect from Merivale.

The team from manager to Bar staff very friendly and helpful. Real old world charm in a classic pub with all the modern conveniences required. They should be proud of the great job they're doing. Highly recommended.

Me & my wife were travelling through Narooma & decided on a whim to dine at this Bars Restaurant & it was the best food we had our entire trip. This place makes the most delicious food that you'll ever have & be hard pressed to find anywhere else.literally every dish complimented the next & the dessert's were amazing. Can't say enough about how delicious this experience was & can't wait to return!.

Great food and service by most of the staff.
However, once we were seated at our table we waited 15/20 minutes for a menu or any water. The English waitress was attending to other tables (some had arrived after us) around us but kept avoiding us. I was very close to walking out altogether. We only received service after we waved at her to ask for a menu. She later asked us where we were from, not sure if she had some sort of bias towards non locals or what..

A bit long waiting time but all worth it when you taste the food! We got salt & pepper squid, 12hr lamb shoulder and fish pie. Everything was so great! Totally exceeding my expectations. Highly recommended. $85 for three dishes in the picture.
