It's a great place. I was lucky enough to pass through the pub on my way from Melbourne to Bendigo, and I thought I'd stop by one day.

I didn't regret that whatsoever. I loved everything. From the affordable and delicious food, to the atmosphere and hospitality.

I did regret not coming late at night though, where most of the events would have been held. Perhaps next time.

I didn't regret the long drive, and I'm definitely coming back next time.

(p.s, you must try out their parmas and bangers and mash.)

We had gotten the Specials: Slow cooked BBQ, Monster Bay Bug with chilli sauce, Calamari and Natrual Oysters x6. Ribs were so soft and tender, just melted in your mouth with the beautiful sweet and slightly tangy, belly fat on it just disappeared when it entered your mouth. Bay bugs were delicious and matched so well with the rice and some salad sam for the crispy calamari that tasted amazing and weren't the processed ring calamari's. Natrual oysters were extremely fresh, so worth the price for an amazing experience of flavours in your mouth. By 12:40-13:00 packed showing its great food and service it brings to this community. 🫶🏼🫶🏼

We had a large group book here for a family gathering. We booked a whole month in advance and unfortunately were split onto two tables. We made a suggestion to shift 2 tables to easily accommodate both groups but were declined. We loved the atmosphere and the food was tasty but some menu items were unavailable and most of our meals were served cold or warm.

Currently sitting out the back of this unassuming but fab pub. It's a quiet Monday in May and the staff were kind enough to open the beer garden so our dog could be with us for lunch. Kind & efficient staff, topped only by the amazing food. Steak sandwich and burger were the best we've had in a long time. Definitely recommend.
