Had lunch with partner and parents. I had the chicken tenderloins. Absolutely perfect. So juicy and tender. Dad enjoyed the bangers and mash. Lots of onion gravy.. mum had the steak sandwich which was very nice and my partner had a parma ( lots of topping choices ) and he enjoyed ever bite.. the staff were absolutely lovely..

Stopped in for lunch when passing through. As well as pub meals, there were toasted sandwiches available. Which suited us as wanted to be quick. Staff were very friendly. We were able to sit in the large courtyard with out dog.

Good local hotel, was one of the only places to get a meal in the town on a Sunday night. Was very busy and took an hour for the meals to come out which was understandable. Ordered lamb cutlets and bangers and mash, both were very good (maybe not the potatos). Good local regional wines which was good to see.

A luxurious and affordable Hotel. Great showers, comfortable bed and friendly staff. We arrived late and were welcome by Amelia and felt so comfortable and at home. Will definitely be back. We never leave reviews but this place was great. Highly recommend.

My Husband, Mother-in-Law & I all had an Absolutely Delicious Lunch there today. Service is Excellent, Food is Delicious (large servings) cannot fault ANYTHING about this beautiful Hotel...2nd time we've been there & will definitely keep coming back. Thank you to all the wonderful staff 10/10

Great little Bistro with large servings and reasonable prices. The food was fresh, tasty, and well presented. The service was fast and sociable. A must-try when staying or passing through Mortlake.

Wonderful country pub run by some fabulous people. Food is lovely and who doesn't love a fireplace. Rooms are beautifully fully renovated.

Dined in at a function. Good pub fare served cheerily by the staff. Enjoyable evening. Recommend for a meal anytime.

We were traveling and was getting late and we couldn't get in anywhere, rang Macs Hotel and got a lovely little room at the back of the pub with ensuite. Was greatly appreciated after a long day of traveling. Lovely people and service.

We stayed overnight at Mac's and also had dinner there. It's been lovingly refurbished and the owner is lovely and easygoing. She thoughtfully allocated us a larger room as she knew we were travelling with a young child. Our room had a lovely high ceiling and a lot of character. The shared bathroom was very modern and clean. We had dinner on a Saturday night and the place was packed full of locals. The roast pork was nice. In the morning, the back cafe was serving decent coffees and there was some basic breakfast items available for guests to use. Great value!

So cute, clean, modern, kind hosts, warm muffins in the morning at the cafe, great stay highly recommend
