This place is dirty, none of the staff wipe tables, and to add I got food poisoning from a burguer.
I can't even tell which place is worst in Perisher.
You better eat at home.

Got food poisoning from lunch, was sick for 24 hours AND had my goggles stolen off my helmet which was sitting on the ledge beside me.
RESPONSE for your comments:
I did ask your bar staff immediately after noticing my goggles were gone to which the young man responded there were none in lost property. I also asked all patrons near where I was sitting to move to check if they had miraculously come off my helmet.

As for the food, it was the last thing I ate before being bed ridden all afternoon & then gastro all night til lunch the following day.

Great food, me and my family gobbled it down. Place is a bit of a walk from my lodge but other than that everything was awesome. Friendly staff and a familiar bar like setting where you can watch tv or play cards at! I didn't stay at the hotel but I did eat at the bar and it was very good!??

Then the steak was tough. Came with a very hot pepper sauce in stead of Dianne. They just don't care do they. So sad. Used to love coming here. Sad.

The atmosphere was great. Sporty bar with great food and drinks. They play bands here sometimes but unfortunately there were none in when we were there. it's very cosy by the fire place. the mulled wine is very good

Stayed quite a few times over the years. I recommend it highly, although like everything else these days, it's getting a touch pricey. Great location, friendly staff and nice to have carparking undercover. Food is fantastic in either the restaurant or the pub.

Haven't stayed here but visit the bar often. Be prepared to be sold and beer and then asked for ID afterwards, then be told to leave if you don't have your licence. Otherwise good atmosphere and tasty nachos.

Best feed on perisher. Great value, very tasty. Definitely get nachos and waffle fries ? 1000% worth the walk to get there

Absolutely cannot fault the place: staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating (special mention to the Kids Club and dining room teams); food was amazing quality and plentiful; location was great for ski school and ski tube.

Adults had an ensuite king room; kids in an interconnecting room with bunks and two singles and ensuite.

Breakfasts and dinners were outstanding food in a lovely setting. Kids had an absolute ball in kids club.

We had a couple of lunches in the pub too.

We'll be back every year!

A bit ott on checking age - lots of people clearly over 17 being refused service at the bar. Basically if you 25 or under you will be checked. Otherwise everything else very good, in particular the poke bowl

Don't miss this one in Perisher.

On a winter evening, be it after finishing all day long skiing or before starting night ski, or anywhere in between, this place is fun to be at. Live music, good food, good booze and good vibes over looking the ski slopes. Honestly, cannot ask for more.

I stayed here for three nights in July 2023 and was so impressed. The location literally can't be bettered - arrive by SkiTube and it's 2 minutes walk from the top station (maybe 1 minute if you don't have much luggage!), or if you drive (and book your place) you can cruise past the car park directly into their garage below the hotel.

The view from the dining room is unbeatable. Make sure you get up in time for the sunrise, but it's also great for watching the fireworks after night skiing.

The food in the restaurant was excellent, way above the standard I was expecting. Even if you are not staying here, I recommend coming for dinner.

Most impressively, the service from the staff was uniformly excellent. Everyone is impeccably polite and helpful beyond the call of duty.

I highly recommend 'The Man' for any stay in Perisher

Went to the Bar (not the restaurant or accomodation). The staff were extremely daft, I was asked for ID by the same lady 4 times. We got 5 pizzas, 3 margaritas and 2 BBQ chicken. 1 of the bbq chickens literally had a raw base when the other was burnt. 2 of the margaritas looked like slosh and as if they were made from play-doe, while the other was a completely different type of cheese / size and again, raw...

We had 6 people in total, we tried to book 1 day in advance mentioning one of us had a broken foot so it would be annoying if we were turned around, but apparently they don't accept bookings... luckily they had room although my younger brother (18) who's phone had ran out of charge was asked to leave since he couldn't provide id, meaning he was left to walk home alone...

I would not recommend this place to anyone, can't even have a schnapps at your own bloody table.

Edit: it's 1 year later now... thought I'd give it a go, seem to really crave pizza when I'm at the snow. Again another raw pizza looks like genuine shit...

Me and friends had a awesome stay here recently and the staffs are very friendly. The hotel and amenities is fabulous? convenient access to the perisher snow field. I forgot my personal belongings and the staff posted out to me which above and beyond their service and duty. A BIG Thank You ?? ?

Absolutely loved our stay at The Man... Our room was cosy comfortable with clean older style ensuite. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast & dinner & the staff were friendly & skilled. Would be very happy to stay again.

Went to the pub for dinner, food & vibe was good but some of the staff were quite rude. Will not make any changes to any of the menu items, I understand the covid fallout has made staff hiring super hard (I own hospo businesses myself) but not being able to remove 1 ingredient from a pizza due to an allergy is a bit stupid and precious.

We've stayed here a few times and the location is perfect, view from the dining room is gorgeous, buffet breakfast is incredible! But what really makes our stay memorable is the incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they'd happily offer to go the extra mile to help with anything we needed, and they were always wonderful with our energetic son! They'd welcome him with a hi-five, remember his favourite food or chat to him about Minecraft. He was sad to leave all of his new friends when it was time to go home. Thanks again to the whole crew for a wonderful weekend.

The Man from Snowy River Hotel has the most disgusting service I have ever seen. The manager was rude and abrupt. After a day on the slopes myself and 2 friends attended the venue to get some food and a beverage. At the door we were asked to check in via the Service NSW app and asked to show ID for our address which we did willingly. The 2 people behind us were not asked for ID and walked straight through. At that time the manager walked over and told the staff member that they were full. We waited at the front door for guests to leave and when 5 people left we asked to enter but were denied. More guests arrived and walked straight into the venue without scanning in and were not denied by the manager. The manager discriminated against myself not allowing us into the venue however allowing others in. The venue had no appropriate COVID safe protocols in place and it was up to the managers discretion.

What a place! Great ambience, live music, views of the snowy slope and delicious food. Couldn't get any better than this. Come here every year and will keep coming.
