The service staff work hard and are generally friendly. But to turn your TAB terminals off when the main game has not even started is lazy at best, undermining the nature of the pub. There were only 5 people in the pub, at least leave 1 terminal on.

You charge premium prices for drinks to be consumed in pokie areas!? Why would I want to pay for your pokie room? Easy venue to ignore and avoid in future. Service is like car sales person... Not welcome after drink purchase.

Out back is a Gaming Area consisting of Pokies only. Smoking and non smoking sections. Open to 2am most days and later on weekends. Not much to comment on the decor as is bland and unimpressive but simple in its right. Free tea, coffee and soft drinks in Gaming area. Average price beer wine and spirits.
Marrickville Tavern is open Monday through Saturday from 10 AM until 4 AM the following morning. They are also open Sunday from 10 AM to 10 PM.
