Has lots of parking and exceptional rooms.
Lovely king sized bed and great bathrooms. Will definately go again.

Very friendly bar staff and good wood fire pizza. My recommendation is "Slow roasted lamb". Gippsland lamb shoulder is very tasty flavour. Nice atmosphere to watch footy.

We stopped over at pub for a quick dinner after our trek at Wilson Prom. Great food with amazing taste, warm hospitality, and staff are just amazing. Just had this beautiful country vibe. Highly recommended.

We were celebrating a birthday lunch, the staff were very friendly and the meals were great ,most of us had seniors meals and they were really tasty and the roast was huge I've never seen such a big plate of food for a seniors meal all for under $20. We were still sitting at the table at 3-30pm and the staff didn't try to move us on . Will go back again in the future, there were 9 of us including 2 of the younger generation and not a complaint from anyone

This place must not like Qld'r or me (non caucasian). Came down with my partners caucasian family for dinner tonight and asked for the fish & chips $30 and if my fish could be grilled. The buck tooth blonde waitress said no, only seniors can have pan or grilled fish. When our meals arrived, my partners younger brother in his 30s got a bigger grilled fish and chips when I got somewhat a kid size small crumbed fish. I tried to get someone's attention for an hour but no one helped until a young small blonde lady said she'd get me a manger but never did for 30mins. So we left after that. I was told by my partners other family, this place was too expensive and the staff aren't nice.
If you don't have blonde hair! Don't come here! The blondes aren't nice to tan, dark customers... ???? just seemed odd when I was reaching a staffs attention and was ignored or forgotten by the manager

What a good old fashioned, tasty and filling meal we had here. 300g steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were tasty AF.

Highly recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner, we will be stopping here from now on for our Wilson Prom adventures.

A solid Australian country pub with a good menu. Food service was reasonably quick and the food was tasty. I'd recommend

Had a lovely birthday dinner here with the family. It's been a long time since we've had a meal that everyone has thoroughly enjoyed. The attention to detail and presentation was exceptional and it was great to see some local produce on the menu. The staff had a great understanding of the menu and were friendly and attentive. Best meal I've had since moving to gippsland by a long shot. Nothing else compares. Thanks so much to Simon and the team for making our night a memorable one. Looking forward to coming back again.

3 courses were great , the curry, steak and Parma. I ordered the roast was supposed to be lamb with mash but received pork roll mostly fat and the mash was mainly HUGE lumps of potato. Child's spaghetti bol which tasted really nice however, had this big black, ( looked like cooked plastic ) in it so had to stop the 15 month eating it.
Went and took it up to the girl, a guy was walking past I'm presuming the manager and I explained again about both meals. He too had no idea what the black piece was but apologized straight away. Told me he would come over to see me at the table ( which he did soon after). He gave me the $12 for the kids meal and offered me a drink for my meal. So I'd rate them 50 50.
Don't think I'd go back for a while, but like I said, the steak and the curry meal oh and the parma were all really good.

Overall really good pizza! we really enjoyed it. However, we didn't enjoy this on the inside of the pizza box. I think it may have been a joke or something throughout the employees however, they should've noticed it before giving it to customers.

Had dinner last night and we both had the scotch fillet and porterhouse steak both were cooked to our liking.. The staff were really friendly from the bar to the bistro highly recommended and would definitely visit again

Last year, our family had several meals at McCartins Hotel, and the food was excellent every time. Great atmosphere in the dining room and fantastic service. McCartin's didn't realise, but you played a central part in our lives at the worst time when our brother passed away. Your pub became the meeting place for us to get together and relax. Thank you.

Well this is awkward... Google wants me to provide a review as if I'd stayed here for the night however I only had lunch at the restsurant.

To review or not to review? That is the question... Well I guess I've come too far to back out now. Here goes nothing....

As hotels go, the McCartin's Hotel restaurant is a wonderful place to have lunch. And don't stop there. If you're planning on staying at the hotel for the night then you have to make sure you also... have dinner in the restaurant. Of course spending the night at this hotel wouldn't be complete unless you had breakfast in the restaurant*. Then after enjoying your breakfast at the hotel restaurant** what better way to cap off your stay at McCartin's Hotel than a lovely lunch in their restaurant. I had the double cheeseburger which was at least twice the size of a standard cheeseburger so no complaints there.

So if you're looking for a place to stay in Leongatha then you can't do better than lunch at McCartin's Hotel.

I could not fault dinner - seafood linguine for main and creme broulee with a brandy snap basket filled with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Brought out in a timely manner by veracious staff. Well worth eating here.

Swiss chicken was to die for . Full of flavour ?should be a permanent menu item . Worth trying if you travelling through This area

One of the best lunches I had after a long time. Very generous and tasty too. Presentation was nice. The coffee was extremely good. Keep up the good work. Will recommend to anyone who travel in this area

Went out for dinner. As seniors, we were given complimentary glass of wine with our order. The meals were tasty, but there are limited choices for vegetarian/vegans.

The food in the venue is as outdated as the bistro itself, slopped on the plate and no taste. The price however is Sky high!!!!
I would rather grab McDonald's next time and probably will.

Did not listen to what u ordered. Charged me full price and I am a senior. I had salmon chips and Half a plateful of lettuce 4 a salad!!!!!

Ridiculous, went there as a group of 30 and had to wait till EVERYONE in the group had ordered before they would start making food! Do not recommend. Also don't expect anything of the food

After reading all the reviews saying it was a great place, maybe we just got a bad night but this wasnt my first bad experience here. Extremely overpriced and poor quality. Apple sauce that came with the roast of the day tasted off, we ordered the 300gm steak and that was overcooked and dry. I'd be desperate for food if I came back here again.

Totally injoyed it, nice friendly staff too. I had a chicken parmigiana and it did not disappoint, friends had fish n chips and said it was just perfect and a couple more friends ordered the salt n pepper calamari and at first only because of presentation they thought oh no, but it was absolutely beautiful. We had cocktails and other drinks it was just a great night. We will be back again

Have always been very happy with the food and service. Meals have been very well presented.

Room okay, bed as 1 from fancy motel, had to remake bed as only enough length for a midget (me 174cm/8ft6in), heating so so, bathrooms poor & blastingly cold, stairs & maze labyrinth not clearly signed, late/early exit/ entry @ bottom of steep stairs, door heavy & difficult. Too expensive for low grade accommodation

Meals were very average, fishermans basket was deep fried to death and literally in a tiny basket, a kids meal would be bigger and theres was lack of presentation of both our meals. Staff looked very sloppy as no set uniform looked to be in place and service was pretty poor, part from one older lady behind bar who took genuine interest in customers and there day/night.

Brilliant. Food delicious. Service friendly and energetic. Great Vibe. Good crew. They were really lovely to each other and helped the new staff; it was lovely to watch as it showed the management cared for the staff.

The fillet mignon was so good! Another must-try is the Caramel Tart. The staff were also amazing! Very polite, always smiling and quick.

Simple, delicious pub favorites. Absolutely top service whether eating in or take out. The staff really understand how to take care of their customers.
