What a great Lil country pub, such friendly old school, country service, a variety to choose from the menu for a good pub feed, creative specials, relaxing front bar vibes. Love stopping here for a cold one when out and about, going for a ride.

Nice food. And clean space. Only downer was meals took nearly an hour to come out and was a bit annoying as others who came in and ordered after us got their meals much earlier.

I haven't visited the Meadows Hotel for quite a few years and was most impressed. The refurbishment and modernisation and decor are very tasteful. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and we chatted enjoyably with Carissa who was managing the bar. There was an extensive menu, specials board and more than adequate wine list. Our meals were delicious and nicely presented. What more can I say!? I'll be back soon!

The lady behind the bar was professional and friendly. The the Beer was cold and crisp. Will definitely come back again.

Caught up with friends for Sunday lunch. Was the best beef schnitzel I have ever had!! So tender it cut like butter. Very impressed. Not so impressed by the kids having melt downs near the toy machine (weird thing to have in a pub!) but the food made up for it. Definitely will be back.

Well, it's been my local for 5 years. For some time I'll avoid it, because pubs in nearby towns are better - food, ambience, service
Had a lapse tonight after some months and went there for a quick meal.
Ordered squid n chips and the specials dessert of sticky date pudding at 6:25 pm. Main meal came out reasonably promptly after 15 mins (well, it's just a fry-up and there were less than 20 clients in the dining rooms). Meal eaten by 6:55, plate taken away by 7.
Sat there thinking - do they remember my dessert? 7:17, go to the bar and get attention from the staff "I'll let the kitchen know".
7:40, it finally arrived, no apology. Almost enough time to cook it from scratch, but didn't taste like it.
Ah well, I need a reminder every three months why I don't want a meal there.

First time visit. Impressed place was very busy. Good sign. Waited without complaint 20 mins in line to order meal.
Advised at ordering there would be a 40 min wait which was good customer service. My response, it would help if you had someone helping you to do drinks while you do food orders in a very polite manner.
Response in very sarcastic tone , well you can see were busy. Were not MacDonald's you know.

Drove on to Hotel Clarendon for exactly the opposite. Never visit Meadows Hotel again, but Clarendon Hotel definitely.

Great food and service... Unfortunately can't return due to the unnecessary toy machine. It causes kids to have melt downs.... It's virtually gambling. Too much stress and spoils the experience.. The Pub is great if you don't have kids....

Was an amazing feed. Great helpful staff. Lamb shank was super soft and tasty

Returned after not being there for a while. I was pleasantly surprised at both the cost and quality of the meals. Very impressed indeed. To the girl (who I believe was new) you did a good job. It takes time to grasp all of the job but you did it all with a smile and good customer service. Well done :) we will be returning

Warm, friendly and excellent service with a touch of country and nice meals. A unique male urinal constructed out of beer kegs!

Booked in for a Sunday lunch with 2 adult family members. Well what meals. Fantastic roast I totally enjoyed having very large " slices " of tasty and tender beef, roast spuds and pumpkin plus a medley of veg all with a nice gravy. Their schnitzel with home steak fries and salad was so good. Large with crispy crumb coating and tender. The other meal S & P squid was large and very tender with their crispy chips. Their food prices were so reasonable and so were the drink prices. Definitely worth a good old country drive during the week or weekend. Totally recommended. Thanks Meadows Hotel.

1st time I've been here tonight. I had the Laksa with Prawns and my partner had a Parmi schnitzel. Both meals were absolutely delicious. The service was great and the wait for our meals was fine. Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff.

Visited here at Easter. What a surprise. Country pubs do serve the best food. There were about 12 of us and everyone agreed that the food was amazing. Several had roast lamb and it was the biggest serve I have ever seen. Friendly staff, a definite winner all round.

Service is great and friendly the food probably the best Mexican chicken Burger I have ever eaten

Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Compliments to the chef on the 5 star food we were served. The meals were a good size and absolutely delicious. Nothing to complain about at all. Pleasant drive to get there and well worth the trip. We will definitely return.

Great Country Pub, with friendly staff, even when run off their feet today..Good quality, full sized serves for lunch..Not in the usual practice of taking photos of the Men's urinals (which is not the usual practice when taking food photos), but I have never seen modified Kegs, converted to an Urinal before, which is a novel way of returning the 'piss to the keg that poured the piss'

Just had lunch today with my family. Everyone enjoyed their meals, which good serves and well priced. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

We met with friends here for lunch today, very reasonably priced meals, well cooked and beautifully presented. The dining area was well set out and the service was well timed and prompt. Not only that, the very humble lady who served us was worried she hadn't provided as good a service as she would usually as they were quite busy, I just wanted to let her know that she did a great job and the we really enjoyed our lunch and afternoon here. We stopped by today and the staff were so nice and friendly, they were run off their feet and still had a smile on their dial . The food was lovely as we all ordered something different we commented on how yummy it all was ?. We will definitely stop in when we are passing through.

Drive through,ubet, lotteries, outside area for drinks, pokies,large dining room,it all just feels a bit flat and not a fan of the port power teal paint job, though i am sure others luv it,ud83dude44anyway renovations on way according to locals so look forward to next visit, EDIT, renovations underway,looks and feels much better,bit of a modern splash now,lighting and excellent tables in front bar,exposed bricks,its a big improvement
