Melbourne Cellar Door, South Wharf VIC

Very over priced food. Ordered prawns and chorizo fettuccini, only got 3 very small prawns. The garlic pizza was presented to the table absolutely burnt. Ordered drinks that came wrong and we had to reorder. Told to hurry as kitchen closed soon.
Lovely area, nice atmosphere but absolutely do not recommend this place, keep walking past.

I absolutely adore this place! It's honestly mine and my best friends go to! It's classy, spacious, comfortable and the food/drinks are so good! Not to mention the exceptional level of service and atmosphere. Just all round such an enjoyable time 🍸

Went in planning to grab a bite and a few drinks but only ordered food in the end as I felt ordering alcohol would make me vocal about towards the cashier. The creamy chicken gnocchi was ok but the bolognese could be better. Limited tables if you are just a walk in customer. The highlight was the cashier. Was initially ignored when attempting to order. When trying to pay, she slammed the card reader in front of me.

Excellent service, Great food, Great wine selection. We had the creamy chicken and mushroom gnocchi and the chilli crab spaghetti. Both were awesome. It was freezing outside, but lovely and warm inside.

This is a hidden gem tucked away on South Wharf that you need to know about.. Having never ventured past Melbourne Public, I had no idea this wine bar existed until now!

Impressed by the friendly and attentive staff as well as the super chill wine bar vibes that portrayed a feeling of spesh but casual and was as cosy as it was suave.

With an amazing array of drinks including gins and vodkas distilled on site, it was hard to say no to a tasting flight as cute as this one!

The Cobb Salad was fresh and went well with any dressing if ranch isn't exactly your thing (controversial but true opinion, I suggest the coriander dressing myself) with chicken that was crispy and not at all oily. It was a light option should you not be in the mood for their heavier fare.

The Chicken Marsala was just as delightful with a creamy mushroom sauce that wasn't overpowering and a mashed potato that actually tasted like potato. I just wish their food was slightly more salted for my tastes.

The Chocolate Brownie could have been warmed up but was delicious and devoured by the dessert lover between us nonetheless.

The food didn't blow you away, it's not a OMG you must dine here.. but it's as reasonable as it is reasonably priced and for that wine and dine vibe, it's a secret gem that really shouldn't be so secret!
