Meredith Hotel ( TOP PUB ) - Pub Near Me in VIC

Located at 53 Staughton Street Meredith, you will find this bloody ripper of a pub. Have dined here twice in a month now and it doesn't disappoint. Excellent food,good old fashioned country hospitality and very reasonable prices. Open fireplaces keep it toasty warm on those cold winters nights and add to the country feel and of course a nice cold beer to wash that yummy food down. Five Google stars and five from me personally ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Do yourself a favour. Book a table and head on out to the Meredith Pub. You won't be disappointed. Keep up the bloody awsome work guys.

A little hidden gem I say, the owners are both amazing! Young couple with massive hearts for food and service. The chefs are trained by one of the best (Chris) and FOH are trained by the best person (jasmine)
What's even better is the atmosphere, fires going, music on softly so you can hear each other talking. The service has always been on point. I can't recommend these guys enough.

The other pub down the road doesn't even compare to what everyone delivers at top pub! Will definitely be a mistake if you get them mixed up!
The food is always fresh, meats are tender, fresh vegetables and salads !
Not to mention you absolutely CANNOT go past the homemade sticky date with ice cream!
About the only pub I'll visit for a good feed, and great company.

We were a party of 4 for lunch this week. Very warm & welcoming atmosphere with open fires going .We were all very impressed with our meals. 2 of us had steaks (rib eye and scotch) and declared they were 'the best they had in a long time'. Other meals were duck breast and lamb cutlets and they were very good also. We were just able to squeeze in dessert. Crème caramel and sticky date pudding. Again all very good. This is a real country pub but doing food worthy of any city venue. !!! We are intending to return again soon

We had lunch on Sunday and it was amazing!! The porchetta special was so good and a huge serving size at a great price. Our waitress was training. She was very good, polite and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

Best pub I have ever been to. Before I even mention the food the fact that it has 3 fireplaces already had me sold. We had the Farmers Wife parmi and the crumbed sausages with 2 kids meals. Very good value for money, great portions and absolutely delicious. The service was great, the wait staff let us know in advance because they were busy it would take a while so I took the youngest for a walk but before we even got down the end of the road our meals were ready. Will definitely be going back!
