Lovely meal,great service and atmosphere. very good sized and price meals x 4 .

2nd rate food! Slow sevice! Dont get the lunch special, they treat you different than if you ordered a normal meal! Parmigana was dry thin overcooked and old cold chips thrown under snitzel! Didnt get our orders correct, 2 out of four were wrong! Sarah just made excuses for their unprofessional service! Wouldnt recomend!

Wow! Went for dinner, tried the special of Chorizo & Prawn Pasta $30.
Food - Fresh, quick, hot, Super Delicious! Massive serving with no less than 13 big prawns and what seemed like a whole chorizo! In spaghetti pasta with a beautiful garlic and spice oil dressing (still tasting the garlic 😜)
I eat big meals, this busted me. Had to take half home in a container that still looked like a full meal!
Service - All the ladies at the bar were amazing, smiling, friendly and helpful to all

Best meals in the week we've been in Tassie. Great food, great staff, friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend you stop here for a meal.

Wow! It's been a few years since my last visit and so worth the beautiful drive to Midway Point. We ate in the pub area. Fun and smiles in a small country vibe. 8ball table in the public lounge and super friendly staff. I'd go back in a second. The menu is great, wonderful selection. I had a seafood platter and my friend had the snags, chips and egg. Can't wait to go back and maybe next time win my 8ball game. I felt like I was on a holiday. Go Midway! Didn't get pics as I was too busy stuffing my face! 😆😀

My Husband and I have been customers of the Midway Tavern for a long time.
Unfortunately we will now now longer Return here due to the Rude Staff member who was too busy Scrolling on her phone to serve us at the counter while wanting to book in for a meal.
We waited at the counter for 5 min ...the place was empty so staff were not busy, the staff member looked up at us then picked up her phone and began Scrolling totally ignoring us......we walked out.
I then called from the car to discuss the matter to be told the kitchen didn't open till 5.30 we were there at 5.20.....what is wrong with a bit of customer service advising us that meals don't start till 5.30 and offer a drink.....which we would have been happy to wait and have a drink but instead ignored and treated rudely on the phone also (which I sure was the phone scroller on the phone)

Great friendly staff, decent priced drinks.
Cheap bar meals which were cooked to perfection. Big meal portions and overall great atmosphere!

Love fish and chips salad,nice tasty gravy, tartar sauce with a cold glass of orange juice.clean cool environment. Enough parking

Good place for having meals with families

Good food, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Well worth trying.
