Mitcham Hotel

Very good food. We ordered Porterhouse steak and Caesar salad, and we loved the food. We also ordered two beers, and it was amazing. Staff though, a different story. Seemed to me they were forced to work there. Very unprofessional. Specifically the younger girl, she said her name was Katy , she didn't have a name batch. I don't believe anybody there cares about customer service. We ordered food , had a couple of drinks, ask the girl how far our food were, and she absloutly lost it. Even when she brought the food she dropped the food in front the kids with the ultimate rude dirty look. I believe she wasn't maybe paid?
Wish the great food would come with a bit of Service.

Loved my lamb chops today had to wait a wile to be seated n got our own menus.. so many options we had trouble deciding probably coz we were honestly starving ... Anna manager on duty was delightful!! Will be back very soon

My Fiancé and I had such a lovely experience tonight. As we got engaged today, the service was beyond
brilliant. The new male employee( Whose name we didn't get sadly) And our service team Alana and Neeve were so sweet and got our food out in less than 15 minutes. They even gave a desert on the house. Wouldn't even accept tips even with the wonderful service received

The fireplace is a key stand-out and the atmosphere is really nice in that part of the dining area. The food has also improved in quality compared over time as has the service.
I think an updated photo on google reviews is needed. That photo is a bit average and underplays the ambience and atmosphere in the place now

great food, staff are great, me and my uncle love going for dinner table 2 comfort 🙂
