Probably the worst pub feast I have ever had. Ordered steak sandwich. Meat is thin and dry. No seasoning. Bread is dry. Filling was near empty, where a primary school kid can make the food better themself... Calamari is almost like eating a frozen calamari from woolies and had no value of ordering

Minute steak advertised as an eye fillet. Worst pub feed ever. One staff member was good and cleaned our table while the two behind the bar ate pizza and chatted. Smell of ciggies in the dining room was good too.

Nice spot with daily specials. Tried the chicken schnitzel with mash - incredibly crispy. Mash was creamy and tasty, though I wish there was a bit more sauce on the side!

Food was delicious, had the meat pie two days in a row and was not disappointed...by that. I came in here with my friend and my son. The waitresses were great and helpful and accomodating for my son. After we finished our meal, my son became a bit fussy, we were the only customers on a Tuesday afternoon. After a bit of whining like kids do, I decided to pack up and leave before he could cause any more noise, as I was leaving the owner (old man with glasses) came up to me and said, children usually stay for one hour not for four hours!, I thought he was joking because I was there a total of 90mins, but I said, Yeap were leaving now, from there not sure if he had problems hearing, he repeated himself angrily while gesturing "children usually stay 1 hr not 4 hours!" So I repeated myself and said we were in the way out. I ordered my food arrived at 3:25 based on my photo and he "kicked me out at 4:30 which is a bit over an hour from when my food arrived.

I found this highly offensive, I was already on my way out, he could've kept quiet and let us be on our way but he made it a point to shame me and my son before leaving.

I regularly came for trivia and for food. Not anymore I will never come back to this establishment, which is a shame because Ben's bites menu is amazing.

Also the place smells like cigarettes.

I've been here now a few times. The bistro food is very good. I sometimes come go of my way to come here for a good old classic burger. No extra crazy ingredients and unnecessary stuff. The meat they use definitely tastes like a 70/30 beef mix with non of that cheap breadcrumbs and other stuff that other places add to boost the volume of meat. They do go a little heavy on the sauces, but you can ask them to go lighter with it or left on the side for your own personal choice. They used to have a VERY good steak selection on the menu. Please bring them back, they were so good! The staff are also super polite and accommodating. They also have a massive screen where they show all the latest sports. Nice place.
