Wish we had have had lunch here now after reading the reviews below on the roast lunch. Oh well, that's a good reason to come back right? :) We stopped off for a coldie on our country drive. It was fantastic having a beer out front with a view over the mountains to die for. Staff lovely and friendly too. We will be back. Update: Just had lunch here and the food was fresh and tasty. Fish fantastic and the best hot bread roll!! We had to take the rest home. Again, great atmosphere and hospitality. We totally recommend.

Saturday night meal only, not staying. Seafood 50/50 consisted of 4 small prawn cutlets and 4 small scallops, chips, and salad. $36. Ridiculous price. Wife had homemade lasagne, although good portion size, was cold on its base. Two banana fritters $33. These are not country pub prices, we won't be back.

Came here for drinks one afternoon and enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we came back the following night for dinner.
Meals were large and delicious. Kids had spiders from the bar which they hadn't had before and loved!

Great country pub close to wonderful tourist attractions. Meals are generous, home style cooking and served lovely and hot. Staff so friendly and helpful.
Camped at back of pub for 2 nights at no cost - for self contained vans. Toilets on main road are very clean and the sites are level and grassy. A great spot to camp and there are platypus in the creek adjacent to the camping area. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Absolutely amazing place. The staff are extremely friendly, professional and the meals are really good. We turned up at 2 o'clock when meal times had finished and they managed to squeeze us in which is really nice. The setting outside is really nice. We will definitely return and highly recommend the place

A country pub with character. Paintings of Tassie Tigers in rustic wooden frames adorn the dining room. The meals were excellent and the portions very generous. They offer a small or regular size meal; I should have select the small meal option and it would have been plenty. The staff were all very friendly and despite the busy Saturday night dining crowd we didn't have to wait too long after ordering for our meals to arrive. A great dining experience
