Good clean place. Went for lunch and the meals were quick and of great quality. Highly recommend stopping by.

First time at the Moonah hotel tonight, food was superb and reasonably priced. The service was even better. Lovely lovely staff. Big thanks to Andy who recommended us some wicked beers and was very welcoming and chatty.

Great atmosphere, very friendly service. The food is great value for money. We love the weekly special days. Parmi Wednesday is a big hit, $22.00 for a parmie and a pint.

Three of us enjoyed a delicious and generous dinner tonight. Two of us taking advantage of the $22 schnitzel and drink special. Seriously can't believe the quality of these meals for the price. Do yourself a favour and pop in and try this little gem of a pub .

Pros: Great beers on tap, friendly service, yummy chips. The beer garden has a nice vibe and is dog friendly. Also the bottle shop section has a great range of craft beers and pet nats.
Cons: Underwhelming chicken burger. The grilled breast fillet needed seasoning.

Extensive range of beers and ciders on tap, even a hot spiced cider, it was burger night so we could not turn down a $20 burger chips and beer (exceptional food value) the food was great, it's clean, modern and light.

basic pub food menu but done really well. chips were amazing. rich potato taste, cooked well. probably not the frozen ones.

Wife and I went to try the new Moonah hotel. This bar is a full hop bar. With little to choose from other than this. Staff were pretentious. Which seems to be the trend with hipster bars. With nothing to my liking from the tap, I ordered a local beer from their fridge. They seemed to be less then impressed with my choice. My can of local beer arrived warm. So warm in fact that it produced zero condensation on the glass. So we obviously didn't stick around for any more hipster ignorance. This pub needs work on their customer service and fridge temperature. This pup is not for us

I have eaten here a couple of times and have been happy with the parmy and steak I've ordered. Great selection of beers on tap, and the bottle shop has a huge range of craft beers on offer! One of my favourite places to stop into in Moonah ??'?

Had the Wednesday $22 chicken parmi special, which included a schooner of beer (can have wine or cider).
Quick service, great food. Incredible value.
They had some cool indie pop playing in the main bar.

I went to dinner with a friend and we had a third person arriving later. We ordered for them and the guys waited until he arrived and then brought over his meal and drink. They were so kind and went above and beyond.
Probably the best parmy I have ever eaten!

Food was so great. I'm in love with this place. Service was really great. Everything we ordered was great ans tasty. Price was reasonable too.
It can go choice for every occasion. They have a lot of tables inside.

I mean what can you say. This is what I want from my pub experience. Fantastic food, family friendly interesting rotating beers and specials but still the footy or basketball on in an area, if that's your thing.
The bottleshop attached is simple a stunner. Can't fault the place and I travel to this place whenever I can.

Went to the special Octoberfest event. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, beer and service. The bar is large and bright. Lots of space. Nice little beer garden too

A fantastic selection of beers on tap and in the adjoining bottleshop. Especially loved the Infernal Agreement stout.
Chicken parmy exceeded expectations, both in size and quality.
Unfortunately only 4 stars due to being served a full-strength gluten-free IPA when asking for a non-alcoholic beer.

I didn't really enjoy dining here, the battered fish was nice, the chips were horrid and the mushy peas were colder than the tartare sauce. Seen the dish go out to other tables and thought that it was going to be a huge meal, but it was an all in one dish, with chips in the corner, fish in the other and salad and sauce in rest. The staff seemed to be a little confused and were checking people's orders table by table. You cannot buy can mixes as in jack or Jim as they don't sell.

Excellent service, food and booze. The kids meals are a really decent serve for the price. I had a chickpea and kale salad with chicken added to it and it was excellent. Great tap beers and wines.

Nice local pub with up market feel and look. Good meals, great selection of beer on tap and great craft beer and wine cellar. Will frequent for sure.

A great place for dinner. My family of 4 have been 3 times since it's refurbishment. The meals are big but a little expensive. My one criticism would be the chips. Please serve something other than chips!! Even potato bake would be nicer. And a bit of tomato in the side salad would be good too. I had the fish pie tonight. It was good if a little over stodgy. However I will not let any of this deter me. I think it will improve and I will be back!

Great venue. Spacious, contemporary feel. Very airy and summery. Meals are well priced and delicious. My steak was perfectly cooked. Excellent selection of beers too. And just round the corner from our house!
