As we were chatting and travelled around the world we got to taste one sparkling, two whites and two reds. Very unique wines with very unique notes. Definitely worth a visit. Definitely worth an add-on to a museum visit. XO

A visit to Mona in Hobart Tassie was not as confronting as I thought. But I do understand the hype, and what makes it different and interesting at the same time. Well that's a different review.... Let's talk about the Moorilla Wine Bar at the end of our tour. The Burrito was very tasty, good size which can also feed for 2 as a light snack. Our snack was accompanied with white wine and Aperol Spritz. Friendly service, entertainment with live music and then some when seated outside, clean and overall a really good atmosphere. It was quite a windy weekend but I can say the visit did not disappoint.

No food available after walking around Mona. Staff more interested in cleaning up and getting out the door. It's only 4pm and you close at 5. Not even a hot chocolate, but happily sell you wine or beer with no food

I had the vegan mezze and the vegan cheese platter. The vegan mezze left a lot
to be desired. The hummus just wasn't that tasty. The vegan cheese was good but the three cheeses were nearly identical. This might be a good option for
someone new to vegan cheese but if you've had others it's not that impressive.

Nestled at a corner of MONA, this place has a very lovely, chill vibe. Add to that the fact that it's only steps away from its very own vineyard (~2 hectares), and the view is lovely, that makes for an even more incredible experience. The icing on the cake, is that we had amazing service from Winnie, who taught us lots of little nuggets, both about the wines from Moorilla, but also from its sister winery, Domaine A. She was very affable and hospitable, and made us feel right at home.

Their wine tasting is an experience that cannot be missed if you happen to be at MONA!

??"?: Visited MONA during our stay in Tasmania. Got a bit hungry walking pass the warm and bustling wine area outdoors just in front. Had some food from @moorillawinery Wine Bar to try.

Just amazing. MONA was just Devine but you must finish the evening at the wine bar! The wine was exquisite and the musicians and staff are brilliant! True artists, and you can tell the staff enjoy working there. Venue is beautiful and although we didn't eat, the food looked amazing!

This was an interesting experience, love the gallery & the wines, but the wine club left me puzzled & disappointed. The sparkling was delicious & I was super keen to join the wine club.... But couldn't! Why? Well, you can only join during a specific windows in time.. which wasn't today. I would have loved leaving with a case, but I'm not waiting till June to join. That moment has gone.

This is my 3rd trip to MONA and somehow I had not known previously that the food element to this place existed (maybe because it's called a Wine Bar I might have thought it was a cellar door?). Anyway, this trip we got to go prior to visiting the museum and were extremely surprised by the food on offer.

This place is like fine dining without the pretentious people / restaurant which is okay by us. We had the oysters, God's Mezze and the King Prawn Poke Bowl to share. The dishes were packed with flavour, super delicious and plentiful.

The staff were super friendly, the restaurant was very spacious and the food came out quickly. All pluses in our book.
Would definitely recommend you include it for your next trip to MONA.

Went there for breakfast today
Food - Good
Ambiance - Good
Coffee - Good

Customer service and vibe from staff - poor
Place was almost empty and there were probably 5 to 6 staff and everyone was occupied keeping each other entertained instead of greeting customers. We walked in while employees were just at some tables and chitchatting - no one said hi or where to sit etc. it felt like they were doing us a favour by letting us walk in and order. That's just how we felt, doesn't necessarily mean that was their intention. It will be nice if staff pay a little more attention to customers than to each other.

Well. Where do you start? Great ferry ride over. The art museum is just that. Don't be offended by it, it's different and eye opening! Then you have the grounds, the iron work, the steel that abounds. The winery and the restaurant! Oh. Don't forget the staff. Absolutely brilliant..The musicians are next level and know their craft. They are musicians! Another experience and worth every cent. Do yourself a favour and come to Mona. You will not be disappointed!

Have a glass of Tasmanian wine paired with oysters or a toastie, sit back, relax. A little price-y but worth it. Celebrate your unique experience at MONA.
