The food and service were excellent. Ash Bettenay is a great chef. One of the best food pub experiences we've had in Williamstown. I had a snapper dish with Vietnamese Salad and Nam Jim dressing and it was delicious. My partner had lamb rump with kipfler potatoes with spinach, tomatoes and pine nuts. Again, delicious. If you're after good, solid contemporary pub food, you won't go wrong with the Morning Star.

We had an amazing time at the Morning Star Hotel when we brought our group of friends and kids together. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable, from the little ones to the adults. The kids absolutely loved the cubby house and sandpit, which kept them entertained for hours. The food was fantastic - fresh, tasty, and a great variety to suit all tastes. From classic favorites to lighter options, everything was cooked to perfection and enjoyed by everyone. The atmosphere was relaxed and family-friendly, making it the perfect place to catch up. We'll definitely be coming back again for more great memories! Highly recommend it for groups and families looking for a fun, memorable time out.

Great food at the Star! Absolutely a new local gem. Cold beers on tap, they have Balter XPA on tap hooray! Plus other great craft and non craft. Also bottle beers, and of course, a good wine selection. There is indoor and outdoor seating, book for dinner/reserve a table. Kids playpen out back to lock em up lol π

I have a beer at this great pub on a regular basis.The Morning Star is a lovely old pub which has just had a classy renovation.
Beer is cold and bar staff are courteous and prompt.
The main bar is like a freezer though with the cooler turned up too high.
Apart from this......well done management and staff.

A cracking beer garden and stylish interior with slick staff. The new owners have really revitalised the Morning Star and it's as good as it's gets!
Morning Star Hotel is open Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday from noon to 11 PM, Monday through Tuesday from 4 PM to 11 PM, and Friday through Saturday from noon until 1 AM the following morning.
