I often ask the question, what makes a perfect drinking sesh? And the answer is almost always the company, but you know what can make it even better?! A good, solid Australian pub, and Mortdale Pub is quite possibly the greatest watering hole this side of the Georges River. If you want fancy cocktails and 18 dollar schooners go up north, if you want a solid drink selection and nice, friendly, personable staff, then come to Mortdale Pub. Never tried the food but I have had a cheeky ponder at the menu and it did, in fact, make the old tummy rumble. If you're ever in the area, come in and wet the whistle, you won't regret it. #ILoveMortyPub

Stayed at The Mortdale Hotel for a 3 night stay and it was awesome. The room was a great size, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The tv has plenty of entertainment channels and options. The staff are extremely accommodating and helpful and quick with service. Location is ideal, close to the train station, cafes and restaurants. Highly recommend. Will definitely stay again.

Mortdale Hotel has really great pub grub with daily specials and a reasonably priced menu. We have tried the steak, mash n veg, and the Sunday pork roast. Both were really good, fresh and tasty, good-sized portions, and at $18 a pop ya definitely can't complain. Highly recommend Morty Pub for awesome pub grub.

I have been here many times and it has been completely fine, i went there last night and i was getting some money from the atm, security was watching me and came upto me and said i have had to much to drink when i told him i had only had one drink he looked at me funny even though i was completely sober. I understand they have to do their job and make sure no one is intoxicated but i was not whatsoever. I have enjoyed this being my local and have got to know a few of the bar staff but this security i have not seen there before and i find it disgraceful i was completely sober and was refused entry ! I would be looking into some new security that know how to do their job properly.

Spent three nights in this fantastic hotel. The room and bathroom were both quite spacious and were super clean and tidy. Very comfortable bed.
Great location near the train station and an excellent array of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby.
A very enjoyable stay. 😊
