Moss Vale Hotel

Have been popping into this pub for years whenever we are in the area or up for a winters drive.
The food was nice, well presented and a decent size serve.
Prices were responsible.
The beer was cold.
We got a couple of chicken Snitzels and a chicken and bacon pizza for the kids.
The place wasn't packed and didn't wait long.
Despite some renovations the place was still clean and tidy.
Will be back again

I was there for lunch with some friends. We were very lucky, the table in front of the fire was empty so we sat there. There was no reservation sign on the table. We went and ordered our lunch and while waiting for our order the persons at the table next to us started complaing that we had their table. Said once was rude enough. They tried to get one of the staff to ask us to move. Then these very rude people continued to make comments about us being at their table the whole time we were eating. As we were leaving I did say to them.... thankyou for making visitors welcome. One of the tipsy ladies replied thankyou, come again in a very rude manner. I did reply ... no way would we return. I am truly sorry that your regular patrons think it is good for business to be rude to visitors/customers to your establishmen.

The Scotch fillet was cooked perfectly (medium rare), tender and juicy. The nicest stake I've had in many years. Good crunchy chips albeit maybe a little over salted. I had the sticky date pudding which was also great.

Stopped in to use toilets 🚻 found the place very tidy, and toilets exceptionally clean.
Very impressed

Went to watch the Amzac Day game and it wasn't on the TV. Asked at the bar to put on the game and the arrogant young bar man said he was too busy and to wait despite it being 15 mins into the game. Won't be returning here, however, the young bar woman who served us was very polite and helpful.
