I\'ve never eaten there only drank so I can\'t rate the food, atmosphere is what you make it..there\'s always friendly people there, relaxing with background music, there\'s a balcony for smokers which is heated with ceiling heaters for winter... staff are very helpful and friendly... great selection of alcohol... my party of friends normally bring guitars and jam on the balcony which the staff are happy to accommodate us...

Went to lunch today and had the 14.95 lunch special. Unfortunately nothing special about it. The portion was very small, it was like a kids meal. When the staff member was told about our opinion on the food he did not seem to care and said to order the regular price chicken schnitzel. I assumed the meal we ordered would not be half the size because it was a weekday special. Will not go back and will not recommend this to anyone

Very disappointing, went to the Tuesday chicken schnitzel special. Received a tenderloin sized piece of chicken. Brought this up with the staff who said that there was an option to order the normal chicken schnitzel at a different price......Whats the point of having a special??? Definitely not going back there, wont recommend it to anybody.

Our local for a Friday beer and eats. Good value prices, friendly staff but the space is tight. Smokers like the balcony.

Yummy food, friendly staff.
We came on a night where the locals came in and played their violins and fiddles, it was great upbeat folk music being played so it definitely created a fun atmosphere which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Good service and nice place but the food was not great at all.
The chicken schnitzel was tasting oil and fries were soft, not crispy.

North Sydney gem!! Most reasonable prices and literally everything I've tried on the menu has been delicious. The staff is some of the friendliest and most helpful, beautiful humans. It's become my weekly go-to!

Menu prices need to be updated on their website.
I ordered the Schnitzel Mexicana, which according to their website should have been $21, but when I got there I saw their updated physical menu and I paid $24, a 14% increase probably due to inflation. No problem with that, but please update the menu you have online.
