Mountain Goat Newtown, Newtown NSW

I reserved a table here on Wednesday for a birthday celebration because I was looking for a place with a great vibe, plenty of space, and good food and drinks. This spot totally exceeded my expectations! The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us, especially since more people showed up than I originally reserved for. One bartender, in particular, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed - I wish I remembered his name, but he was wearing a red hat. Huge thanks to him and the team for making the day special!

I didn't order any beer, this is just a review for the food. They were all too dry... the burger was average but was the best between them.

Great beers, did the tasting paddle. The Belgium and dark beer were favourites. Also great food, the croquettes, nachos, chicken tenders were all a hit. Friendly attentive service too

Quite a nice place, spacious seating, good beer and decent food. We had the pasta of the day, which was a sort of white sauce linguini with prawns and chorizo. I had the tasting paddle, and quite enjoyed the Black IPA and the Hazy Apple Cider. Staff were helpful. There's a seated smoking area in the back.

Goat beer in newtown! Lovely beer shop and its brewery. They have billiard, arcade machine and lovely variants of beer. And they had my name as their type of beer, offcourse i must try it 🤣
