We visited this lovely hotel in 2019 for a meal, while we were staying at Tooraweenah Caravan Park. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. Couldn't wish for a better place to relax and enjoy our meal, 5 stars!!

Great little Hotel. Food was awesome, large sizes and has to be one of the best cooked pubs meals so far.
The service was great and the publication is always up for a chat.

Went for lunch and had the steak and onion sandwich, not only well priced but very tender steak and delicious chips. Friendly helpful staff. It was recommended by our caravan park in Coonabarabran and we were not disappointed.

Chicken Parmigiana was good size, salad fresh and lots on plate. Guinness Pie n vegetables unfortunately was a bit disappointing, all veggies were cold, pie was bland. Overall the pub is quirky and service professional.

Good food and atmosphere. $37 for 3 crumbed cutlets, but size and quality was good. Limited wine selection. Some local drops would be good.

A great local pub with a friendly atmosphere. There are hood options for food and drinks and the staff are very helpful. We had a quiet but delicious dinner here. This place is well worth the short drive from the Newell Highway and has beautiful views of the nearby Warrumbungle Range with its pointy hills.

Pub offers cold beer and reasonable pub food.
They are happy to adjust to suit dietary requirements.
Accomodation is 'Donna' style but clean and plenty of hot water.
Staff are typically friendly as are the locals.
Worthy to be there on AustraliA day for the lawn mover races.

I stayed at the local caravan park for 3 nights and came over to the pub for 3 nights of takeaway dinners. I would normally eat in but it was a busy weekend with a major horse riding event happening while I was there. Great that the town got some business. The food was very good. I would have been happy to be staying longer, to get through the rest of the menu! I'll be back this way when I head further north into Queensland...and I will stay at the caravan park and eat here for sure.

A great hotel in an interesting little township, which was the site of Arthur Butler's airline, the first passenger airline in Australia. There's a little museum devoted to the man and his airline at the airstrip. We flew in for lunch, and cars were sent to collect us and take us to town. There were information plaques in front of historic houses which were interesting. Covid sign in to the hotel was easy with staff on hand to help, atmosphere was great, staff friendly and efficient, service prompt, and food was good, with big portions! Definitely recommended!

A fellow pilot and I flew to Tooraweenah and walked into town for lunch at the pub. The welcome we received was warm and genuine. Lunch was over but they made us the best pizza I have had in a long time. As pilots, the town had a special significance for us in its history and is well worth a visit by anyone- aviator of not! Ashleigh then drove us back to the airfield. The whole experience will stay in my memory for a long time. Thank you.
