Absolutely loved it, this thing was huge and full of flavor! Need an appetite to get through this baby! great cosy atmosphere along side the open fire, bubbly staff, what a great pub all round, will definitely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our go to pub whenever we are in Melbourne. Brilliant food and great atmosphere. A pub that has stayed true to it's heritage

Frankly, the Napier is so good I kind of don't want to share it. But that feels selfish.

The food is generous, bordering on ginormous. Personally, I can't go past the parma with kangaroo steak topping. But we've worked our way through most of the menu and it's always faultless.

The beer on tap and wine by the glass are both excellent and change regularly.

The stuff are some of the nicest, most laid-back humans you'll find in any pub, anywhere.

The atmosphere is classic - Fitzroy memorabilia everywhere - and a proper locals pub. You can sit in the main dining room, the bar room, or the beer garden depending on your mood.

Loved my meal at this pub this week. I shared the duck ragu with gnocchi, which was beautiful and rich and the gnocchi was perfectly cooked, as well as the lamb and chorizo pie. The pie came with delicious mash and cooked veggies. I also snuck a piece of the chicken Parma (my brother thinks it's the best in Melbourne) and it was delicious! We also had the entree lamb kofta, which came with such a tasty sauce! Meals here were $25-30, with some of the largest servicing sizes I've seen!!

Will definitely be back.

We came here on a Sat night...
I do like this place alot... Heritage building, fire places and British pub feel.
Friendly staff and patrons..
Really goog pub food .
It is very busy but with a decent turnaround so even without booking you don't wait long for a table.
Mens bathrooms could be a bit better and the communall table at the back is very close to the wall so if you are on the far side and sharing you need to ask potentially 3 people to move to get up.
But all in all a great Sat night!!
