Went for dinner.... AMAZING. excellent meal. I had the mixed grill. My wife had the Garlic Prawns. We both loved it.

The Nar Nar Goon Hotel is a second home for me and my mates.
Food is good value. Beer is cold. People are grouse.
Plenty of updates to this joint in the last 12 months.
Beer is roughly 8 bucks a schooey at time of review.
Rooms currently not available and haven't been for years.

As I find myself slowly exploring the Victorian countryside on my long awaited holiday, I have found myself temporarily holed up in the goon doing some work for a local family business. After a gruelling sticky experience at work we decided to pull in on the way home. The pub on this day wasn't overly busy, but the staff were up for some banter. The food was as Victorians would say "grouse". It was perfect, it was what I would expect from a succulent pub meal.

Great service by Jay n Bindi, tap beer selection is awesome and price is unbeatable. Never had a bad meal here either. Thanks for upgrading the place and taking it to the next level, it needs a lot of energy & resources. And for that your locals love you, and so do we.
